At the beginning of next week Simone Inzaghi will finally welcome back all the national players who are still enjoying their last few days of holiday. The first week of August will be important for the Nerazzurri because another great return is expected in Milan: that of Christian Eriksen.
He will undergo several medical checks and if his mental and physical conditions will be deemed good the doctors could decide to remove his internal defibrillator which would mean he could legally be entitled to play again in Serie A!

I don't think it will be that easy, even if it succeeds in removing the defibrillator but still, Inter will still fight even harder to convince Eriksen that Eriksen can actually return to play safely. Imo, Eriksen still needs time to return to play or sad news may come about his career, because Eriksen's arrival back to Inter is not for training sessions but to talk about whether his career will continue or not. Well, I personally still hope that Eriksen can recover and be 100% healthy again, but if I consider from some of his progress so far it seems that Eriksen's permission to be able to return to play may be very difficult.

Martinez is not a striker as what he usually plays in Inter Milan and in Arghentina. He is not a target man like Lukaku. If Inter Milan need to find another target man to replace Lukaku, they can look at Lewandowski, Edin Dzeko, Patrick Schick, Ronaldo.

With their limited funds and financial problems from their owners, I think they will not find any good striker to replace Lukaku if they actually sell him on the transfer market.

Martinez does not have skills to play as Benzema or Kane who can be both target man as well as registra.

For Inter, Ronaldo and Lewandowski are simply out of place, the club will never go to such expenses to buy players of this level. The best option would be to keep Lukaku, but how will he play next season without Conte? This is another question.

They literally cut ties with their manager as far as I know, just because they weren't capable of getting a good transfer, and a championship winner for the first time in how many years as well, you keep those managers dearly when you can.

This shows that you should be focusing on getting a lot better instead of doing all of this, many teams end up not being good at all due to pandemic and Ronaldo? Lewandowski? Those are not the names you look at when you have Lukaku on your team, even if they were to be able to buy those players, which they are not, they would rather spend that money on another position, why look at strikers when you already have one of the best ones in the league? This is why I believe Inter will not get those, but they will also not have any more 20+ million euro transfers neither, they are probably done for the season.

Didn't expect to see him willing to play again, I mean regarding the tragic event that day in EURO I was waiting for him to retire! I find it risky to remove the ICD so early even if medics allowed it. Italy is very strict about medical conditions, if he fails the checkup and willing to continue playing, he can move to another league like Netherlands...

I'm sure an interesting season is ahead of us with plenty of actions. Inter might have won the title last time out but there's no guarantee that they'd be able to do it again. It's not an easy feat to win back-to-back titles around here but it would be super interesting if they would be able to do that. I can't predict whose gonna win it until after the league goes in full swing. Its gonna be a long road for them to be able to defend their title bid once again. We have to wait and find out what's coming.

I totally agree because of what you said. One more reason to make a retirement is his age. He is no longer young and is in the end of his career. Retire a few years earlier than his plan before that accident is not too bad.

Life is too short and from what Eriksen experienced, I think he does know what a life means. Playing a few more season won't help him richer and won't improve his life too much. Of course it is his life an he has to make his decision, between football and his career, and his life and his family.

I hope that medical doctors give him strong warnings that can help him to think of early retirement.

Napoli and Naples can keep Insigne with effects from fans. In the career of Insigne, I don't see he request too much with salary and I see he is happy at Napoli.

Insigne is no longer young and he won't take risk and sacrifice one or two seasons in another league. Lorenzo Insign was one of my best players in the just concluded Euro tournament,He knows his worth,Napoli also knows his worth.And ofcourse teams like Arsenal FC have made some inquiries about him,so the player need something big for him to stay.Napoli are ready to do everything possible to make him stay.He isn't going anywhere if Napoli meets his demand,because he loves the club.
