For now, it seems like there is no way some team are winning the title in the Serie A by a big point difference. There is a very close competition between a couple of teams for the title now. And they all are getting similar results these days. If it goes on like this all the time, we are going to see the winner of the title by the final week of the season. And I guess that many people would like to see such a competition. Because this didn't happen in this league for a very long time. The winner reached the title without too big problems.

Just like I said the other time, you can't simply rule Juventus out just yet, because both Milan team can be really inconsistent, now both teams have dropped back to back points, Juventus could have maximised both, but dropped points themselves last week, now they can't afford not to take this as well.

I'm curious about one thing now and that is whether Juventus will be able to get closer to the first three teams in the standings. They have another chance as Inter and Milan couldn't get past their obstacles this week too. And Napoli also are most likely to fail as their match is really difficult against Lazio away. Juventus are playing against Empoli away today. They got draws for two weeks and this might be the time they are winning. Empoli are not very easy to beat but Juventus would find a way to do it I think.

@Distraction Juventus have struggled at times, and then suddenly they have shown ruthless form so it’s really difficult to say which side of theirs will turn up today. Lastly I don’t expect them to finish in the second position, but they should try and secure the third or fourth spot, because if they end up playing in the Europa league next season then it’ll be a whole new low for them.

now the first half between Juventus and Empoli is over and I'm quite happy with the game Juventus are currently playing with a squad that can be said to be incomplete they can now temporarily win.
Dusan is still doing pretty well now even without Dybala and Morata and indeed I expect more from them even though there are a lot of injured players there.
It's just a matter of seeing in the second half if they can still hold on and create another surprise with the third goal

I didn't think Juventus would lose a point against Empoli. I put my money on Juventus' victory in this match. As Juventus fight for fourth place in the table, gaining 3 points in this match is very important for them. If they do not win this match, Atalanta will move to fourth place in the table.
Despite a 1-1 draw till the 45th minute of the first half, Dusan added another goal to give Juventus the lead. However, Emploi has made several good attacks. Looks like they don't want to lose the home match.

Vlahovic magic working for Juventus and at the end of first half they are leading by 1 - 2 which is very good after we have many mystery results in Italian league with too many draws and loses for top ranked teams having some good changes and now Juventus can feel comfortable because now they are at top fourth which was looking not good in start of bad season but good change of mind and better strategy now giving them good results and specially this new signing is having big impact on their attacking power Vlahovic is really great talent and now turning tables for his new club.
 
Now second half is also going to be very interesting as Empoli is not going to lose easily at home against them, so we can watch too many twists and very entertaining soccer from these both teams for full 3 points.

when they say that in soccer anything can happen they are not lying, until months ago juventus was well behind the top teams, but who could have imagined that juventus would be very close to the top teams and if juventus win today could still dream of winning the Serie A, it's something I didn't expect to happen and as a fan of Juventus I have my hopes back

I lost money in these games, I thought it would be a very easy profit, but I was shocked by this result, inter was playing with a very weak opponent and they didn't even manage to score 1 goal

Empoli look as good as Juventus so far, playing more aggressively. I don't know how this match will end, but judging from the last few games Juve and Empoli it could easily be a draw. True, Empoli have more losses than draws, but Juventus have also drawn their last three matches.

Coming soon Sassuolo - Fiorentina, to predict which team will win in this game it took quite a bit of my time. Sassuolo managed to win against Inter in the last match away, while the last meet against Fiorentina ended in a draw with a score of 2-2. After leading 2-1 in the first half, Dusan scored another goal in the second half to give Juventu a 3-1 lead. But Empoli do not want to lose the home match. They are doing their best to draw the match. Empoli managed to score two goals. And they continue to attack. Trying to score. But Empoli's players have not been able to succeed because of Juventus' experienced defenders. However, I am happy that Juventus won, I do not want to lose my money.

Napoli should definitely win in the tough Lazio away game. Because their rivals in the championship race were tied. This match will be competitive and the goal rate will be high. I think Napoli will win this match. If Napoli wins the Milan match they will play at home next week, they will be one step closer to the championship.

Empoli was so close in the end of the match to score and make it a draw but Juventus holded the defence really good and won the match and got some really big points in this fight for the title. Vlahovic again scored for Juventus with some amazing moves and he scored two today overtaking Ciro Immobile as the top scorer in the Serie A

Juventus could use this victory of 2-3. They could use some success in the competition again, lately they had regularly lost points. The competition has also spilled points, so Juventus can now look a little more up this way. The gap to leader Inter is still huge, but who knows, something may still be possible. I think Juventus just want to reach CL and then aim the other arrows at the existing CL against Villareal.

How the hell do these teams still keep getting ties? I mean they should have been a lot better already, they should have been beating other teams very very easily.

I am not saying that they can't, but they are really not doing it at a better rate than this currently. Milan and Inter getting another tie is not a good look, they are at the top of the league, so far Milan got 9 out of 15 possible points in the last 5 games and Inter has 5 out of 15! That is seriously horrible, Napoli got two ties in the last 2 games as well. It is really looking like Serie A is just filled with teams that gave up. Nobody looks like they are actually playing to win.

Empoli was so close in the end of the match to score and make it a draw but Juventus holded the defence really good and won the match and got some really big points in this fight for the title. Actually in this match Empoli played quite well and indeed they were not bad at playing the game.
It's just that Juventus is superior in maximizing the opportunities they have which makes Empoli inevitably accept their defeat in this match.
and if you look at the statistics, Empoli is actually quite balanced with Juventus and indeed in terms of opportunities they are not too inferior to Juventus.
What makes them lose is that they can't maximize their chances well

But Juventus' being very willing to win helped them defeat Empoli by 3-2. And Vlahovic is such a great striker that he scored two goals here. He is already making a big contribution to the team in offense. They really needed a striker like him as they were in big trouble with Morata especially. Vlahovic seems to have solved the scoring problem but they need to be consistent about winning too from now on.

Juventus are still unsure of fourth place in the table. They are not stable enough yet. If Atalanta could return to form, it would be completely uncertain if Juventus would be in fourth place. Atlanta lost form badly. They have not won in the last 5 matches. Juventus will lose their place in the points table if Atlanta can win the next two matches. So we shouldn't expect too much from the Juventus team yet.

Actually not too impressed with Juventus' performance today because they still conceded 2 goals, yes the current weakness is in the defense often conceded
If Juventus can solve the defensive problem then I believe Juventus can be better even compete with other top teams. It must be admitted that the arrival of Vlahovic really helped Juventus each attack becomes more effective.

You're right. A good and important win for Juventus. And the transfer of Vlahovic has been brilliant. I hope he will continue to do the same in the next games. Vlahovic has cost 80 million euros and that is well invested. Today that first time 2 goals in one game. With the victory it is only 7 points to the top of the League.
