Personally, I don't think Napoli will have a hard game with Verona as that team is not having the same godly defensive from last year so I think Napoli will score at least 2 goals and take the win.

Normally it should be like this, moreover, we know how Napoli so far, they mostly could play very well although, in the last match, they should be defeated by Milan. They may be able to win the match more easily if:
- They are not triggered mentally and are down because of the last match loss result
- They will not underestimate Verona in the field whatever the condition, they must play maximally and optimally
- Most layers can play the match more consistently and focus enough

I am still waiting for the match between Inter vs Torino because this will exactly give the influence to the standing of Inter and Milan itself. However, I am also pretty sure that Inter can win the match

If we compare the performances of AC Milan and Inter, I agree with you that the last few matches of AC Milan have shown a greater motivation to win.
Even now AC Milan is in the top position with two points ahead of Inter. But we also can't underestimate Inter, because Inter in the last 5 matches have
shown a declining performance. This happened maybe because Inter were still playing in the Champions League, so Inter couldn't focus on winning
in Serie A. But after being knocked out of the Champions League, I believe Inter can improve their form in Serie A. Moreover, Inter still has one game left
to play, so Inter's chances of winning the Serie A trophy are much greater. Even so, there are still quite a lot of rounds to play, so both AC Milan and Inter

in the remaining matches they have to be able to use it well and play consistently to be champions, I think that's what will determine right now, consistency. whoever can play consistently, whether Inter Milan or AC Milan, if both are not able to be consistent then it is very possible for Napoli to get rid of the two Milans.

Today's match is their home match, and the defense if they are able to keep strong. Then Napoli will not be able to win.

It really is something that is affecting every single team in Serie A though I would say, perhaps with Juventus the only one to really benefit from all of this but they have been extremely lucky too (I guess though 1-0 wins is something like their true style).

Goal difference will definitely play a part if this form hits everyone the same but I think Inter will hit their stride and Milan will find their reliance on old legs is not going to carry well.

I saw from the previous match but the H2H that you said was a draw in their last two matches means I also conclude there is a possibility of a draw, so I consider the benchmark for the Verona vs Napoli match, but my desire is different and I want to choose Napoli as the winner.

After drawing 1-1 with Napoli and losing 0-2 to Sassuolo, Inter Milan had to drop to 2nd place. Losing 5 points from 2 matches is a loss for Inter Milan, now they have to fight again to get first place from their brother (AC Milan).
Inter Milan must win the 1 game they are still holding to return to the top of the table, AC Milan and Inter Milan both have the opportunity to finish in first position at the end of the season. Both teams in the capital of Milan must win all the matches to keep their chances of winning the Italian league season 21/22.

I think Napoli will win this match not only because Verona are weak. Napoli have reasons to grab as many points as possible when Juventus, Atalanta and Roma can challenge Napoli position if they lose many points till the end of season. Napoli temporarily have a good position so they don't want to lose it too easily. Verona will be another victim of Napoli along their way to third position of Serie A, at least in this season.

Meret is a good goalkeeper but his career is under-estimated because of other great goalkeeper in Italy. After Buffon, he has to stay under Donnarumma. Napoli are not strong with defense so the absence of Meret will affect their defense power that will decrease their ability to protect their goal. However, Verona are not strong enough to get points from Napoli.
