Juventus performance was no where near good in the Champions League.
If that is repeated in the Seria A game's I'll be very angry, they didn't put up a good performance.
I see the visitors will come here hoping to get a win, because Juventus lost woefully in the champions league and they will be low in confidence as a result if this game.

It is really a shame how Juventus have fallen. They were once feared by many teams in Europe but these days they are no where near their least performance of their glory days. I think their woes started when they let go of Pogba and Vidal;  those two players were instrumental for their style of play then but since they left, the struggle began. They were slightly better when Ronaldo joined but said some fans and club decision makers thought he was limiting them, Ronaldo's gone and they are worse now.

Yes the chance is still there even if it's very small and today they should be able to prove that they are still worthy in SerieA for that there is no choice Genoa must win. I agree with you Torino are stronger but they are not motivated in other words this match has no effect on them

Sassuolo got a comfortable win against Spezia. Early penalty goal from Domenico Berardi took them to lead the game but Daniele Verde equalized. In second half things went south for Spezia though. Sassuolo played almost one sided game. Berardi scored early in second half again, then they finished the job with two back to back goals from Kaan Ayhan and a great free-kick from Scamacca in three minutes. It's hard for Sassuolo to reach top six spots but they still collect easy points against weak teams.

We are going to have Napoli - Udinese as the opening game on this weekend. Napoli are clearly a highly favourite here and they already destroyed Udinese away before like 4-0. Udinese still haven't started to pull themselves together in the Serie A. Because of these facts, I don't expect Napoli to make any mistake. This one should end up with a clear victory for Napoli. And if I'm not mistaken, Napoli will be the temporary leader in the standings then too. I just love the current rivalry for the title a lot.

There is no doubt in the match against Salernitana, Juventus should be able to win. Salernitana was just lucky to hold on to a draw against Milan a few weeks ago. Massimiliano Allegri's favorite model of the game is starting to bring its own result, not the fact that the fans of the club would like. I wonder what advantage the club must have to have an advantage at least compared to Mourinho's Roma. If you believe the rumors, there will be a global shake-up at Juventus and if the head coach does not part with his post, a shake-up is fully expected by his staff. Napoli have no choice but to win if they want to win the title. Because the points gap between the top 3 teams in the table is very small. The team that loses points in a match will continue to move away from the title. And against a relatively weak team, you must achieve 3 points. I too believe that Juventus will win this fixture, and I expect them to score lots of goals as they’ll be keen to bounce back from the champions league debacle. Lastly Allegri is one of the best coach, and he should be given one more season to turn things around, because his plans were effected when Ronaldo suddenly left hence I don’t think the board will shake up a lot without taking Allegri’s input.

Genoa shock everyone after their incredible win against Torino last night. Nobody expected the win, after an early goal from Portanova in the 14th minutes of first halves, not too long in the 24th minutes, Ostigard was booked with a red card straight up. All Genoa 10 men have to do is to defend their winning till the end of the first half. But I was hoping in the second half that they would concede more goals but only did I know that Genoa are extremely good when it comes to a defensive game. Torino on the other hand did all they could against the 10 men, but no goals was conceded. All thanks to Portanova that makes Genoa breaks Torino winning streak record last night against them, Torino has beating them in their last 5 games.

Anyone who looks at the position and distance of the points in the standings for the championship will certainly feel happy. How could they not be so close, and that could change in just one game. And we know that Serie A still has a few games left which will certainly present an interesting match for the holders of the top 3 standings. It could be that at the end of the season the winner will be determined by looking at their head to head.

Sassuolo's performance in the last few matches is commendable. They were eventually defeated by Juventus (Coppa Italia-quarter final). After that, they played against strong teams like Roma, Inter Milan, and Fiorentina but they did not lose. Inter Milan was defeated 2-0, it was an unexpected result. They are unbeaten in the last 6 matches. They beat Spezia 4-1 yesterday. I would say it was the expected result. Because Spezia is a weak opponent.
