Napoli failed to hold on to their lead in injury time and it wasn't all that great when they were 1 man ahead of Roma. I'm sure it's a painful result, lucky Roma managed to get 1 point after losing 1 player due to a red card.

Napoli again dropped full points at home to AS Roma, this draw made a different story for both teams, for Napoli an additional one point again made them fail to cut the distance with AC Milan, last week they also achieved a disappointing result at home, Luciano's men  Spalletti was forced to surrender 2-3 by Fiorentina.  

Then this draw is also not good for Jose Mourinho's squad, because they are increasingly difficult to catch Juventus in fourth place and will also have the potential to lose fifth place if Fiorentina collects full points in the remaining matches.

If we look at the statistics of the match, a draw is indeed the fairest for both teams, even though victory is actually what they want the most.
With this draw slightly detrimental to both teams, in which Napoli actually needed 3 points to approach AC Milan's points. Meanwhile, Roma are
chasing Juventus points, because Roma are trying to get into the top 4 so they can play in the Champions League next season. But Napoli and Roma
had to accept the fact that they only got one point, there is still a chance for Napoli and Roma to achieve their goals this season. Hopefully in
the next match both teams will achieve the results they want. Although it looks like it will be difficult for Roma in the next match to win, because Roma
have to face Inter. Then Napoli will face Empoli which is a weak team, Napoli should be able to beat Empoli in the next match.

What a game! Even with a red card, Roma managed to score at the end of the match! Now it's up to them to make it through added time. It's hard to imagine how bad it must be for Napoli fans. If the game ends with this score, the team will be behind the two Milan teams in the standings and unlikely to catch up. In general, their game has deteriorated towards the end of the season.

No doubt a big below for Napoli as they were in good position and having some good hold on game but injury time goal from super sub El Shaarawy done good job for Roma which is now having very good record for them, and they have no lose any game for quite long time but still it's not easy for them to have fourth spot from Juventus which is also done good job and fights back after having the worst start of this season.

Red Card was not on pitch, so it has no impact on this game but still now it's wide open title race between two Milan teams as Napoli is losing their points very frequently which is going to hurt their best start of this season and fight for first title after many years.

both teams played beautiful football even though hosts Napoli managed to take the lead through a Lorenzo Insigne penalty in the 11th minute but Asroma managed to equalize in injury time through Stephan El Shaarawy's goal making both teams have to settle for sharing the points 1-1, With this draw Napoli have certainly thrown the towel in the title race this season after they had to drop important points in two consecutive matches.for AS Roma the draw did not change their position in fifth place in the Serie A table.

Yeah that guy was a savior for Roma and Napoli was really unlucky, the goal at the start was just a consolation, and also was the red card. It's true Napoli lose competitiveness that maybe Inter can even win the position of Milan but it's tough because later Inter opponent will be Roma too, did Roma manage to hold Inter to get 3 points or will today's incident be repeated there later? Exactly as we predicted Roma won't let Napoli win easily and yes they did at the last minute with this draw we can confirm Napoli are out of the title race
Now there are only Milan and Inter who is the main candidate both still have the same chance Inter are at a slight advantage with one game yet to be played
While Napoli and Juventus remain safe in the 3-4th place left Roma by 5 points.

The final score of the Napoli - Roma game was not surprising at all. Napoli were the favourite team maybe but it was obvious that it was going to be a really tough game for them. Roma weren't doing bad in the league and they would surely do their best to steal at least one point from Napoli. And they really made it as the game ended by a 1-1 draw. But the equalizer came really late by Roma too. Napoli players must be devastated after conceding that. They needed to increase the goal gap to secure a win but they couldn't. They are still four points away from the leader but it is going to be much harder for them to catch up with the leader now.

As I said before the 10 minutes to the end this was going to be vulnerable for both sides. and this happened for Napoli even though they were very underdogs with Roma's red card which made them play quite a limp but on the other hand the counter-attack that was applied really paid off. El Shaarawy appeared as the supersub that made this a series.
Of course this result is still good for Roma because they still keep their match without defeat in the last few matches played but in contrast to Napoli this is actually a loss for them

Mate, you are perfect in your all analysis and after end of first half Verona is leading by 0 - 1 I am surprised by Atlanta form they are losing their top rank and now on verge of losing leading half of this season's league table if today they lost then surely they are going out of top ten which could be big set back for this amazing team and their management.

In presence of some quality players they are fail and have only two wins from their last ten games and now completely going down with this all which is misery once they were a strong contender for Champions League, and now they are going to lose their rank in top ten is shocking result for their fans time is running out they need to set things before its end in the worst.

Roma should consider themselves lucky after getting that one point in a really difficult way. They scored the equalizer in the stoppage time and they got what they wanted from this game also. But the situation is not the same for Napoli of course. They must be really frustrated to lose their chance to be victorious like this. It has affected their title chance as well. But they still have time to turn the tide actually. But it seems to me like Milan or Inter will be reaching the title this season. It is good to see Milan being better than the previous season by the way.

Surprisely, Atalanta are losing their game against Verona. After conceding a goal in the first half of the match, I was initially expecting them to balance the score in the second half. But, to my greatest surprise, Atalanta made an Own goal, which resulted to Verona currently leading with 2 goals. However, Atalanta underrated their opponent, and at the end, they are now struggling to score. Nevertheless, Verona strengthen their defence in the second half, and we might witness the match ending with Atalanta not securing any goal. I hope Atalanta probably equalize the score, in order to achieve a draw point.

The match was quite difficult for Napoli to get full points. there weren't many chances to finish well for either team. they are equally strong in midfield and defense. there were only 9 shots for Napoli and 8 shots for Roma. it's a not-so-good statistic for a team looking for a win.
