As I said before, they must not drop points against competitors in the champions league position, and that means consistency they have to maintain. They don't have too tight a schedule compared to the others. That can be their advantage because physically they will be able to take care of it better. I don't think it will be very hard for Atlanta to qualify for the champions League this season, because they are lot of the teams there that are very much better than them, the two Milan clubs inter and AC Milan will definitely qualify because they have the qualities and are even the favourite to lift the league trophy this season, then you talk about juventus who are building back and still in contention for the title, then there is Napoli and AS Roma who are better and did well in the transfer market than Atlanta.

Last season they had a lot of problems, especially in the irregular rotation of the players that made them have to be thrown in all competitions.
At the moment they are trying to get back on track by being a dark horse again, so it would be very good if Atalanta managed to make their form back like a few seasons before. Even though they can't compete for the championship, they are able to trouble big teams.

Several teams in this season's Serie A have been strong this season. At the moment Inter Milan, AC Milan, Juventus, Roma and Atalanta. Each team's squad is strong enough. So till now we cannot pick one or two teams who deserve to be champions. I think all the teams will have equal chances to win the title till the end of 14/15 matches in the season.

Compared to other Scudetto contenders, Atalanta have been left without Euro cups this season, and therefore they can completely focus on Serie A. If Gasperini could make the team play more stable, then I think Atalanta could well compete for the Scudetto this season. The next matches will be with Roma and Fiorentina this is a good test of what the team is capable of now, a good time to try to gain a foothold at the top of the standings.
