It is surprised because in the summer they just lost Insigne and Koulibaly. We all know how important those players are with Napoli in recent seasons. So it is surprised to see they are able to replace those players very well and even play better than in the past season.

I think it's too early to say that Napoli will definitely be champions this season, because this is just the beginning of all the challenges they have to overcome ahead. Moreover, the distance of points from its competitors is not too far away, only 3 points from the second position of the standings. Milan is the defending champion. No doubt we expected better from them. Looking at their last two matches I have to say that they are improving. I did not trust them to win the Italian League title in the last season. But to be honest they did surprise me. Actually, it was also because Inter could not play well toward the end. Napoli's performance in last season was also on same level but sadly in last few rounds they chock and slip down which was surely a big shock for them and their fans but in this season they are in other world because after selling their best players no one was expecting performance like this from them which is surely a positive change and their performance in Champions League is also at the top which is surely a big advantage for them.
