That's the problem that will come to the napoli. Some changes that gonna happen with napoli may not so perfect like the current squad. I forget the last time Napoli won the title. To be honest, since I started watching football regularly, I have never seen Napoli become champions of Serie A. They desperately need a title. They are well ahead of Milan and Juventus this season. They are in a safe place. Now if they are able to maintain consistency in their performance then they can win the title.

At the moment, there are no weaknesses in the Napoli team. But if they change the squad in the winter transfer, their performance is likely to be unstable. The Napoli coach will have to handle things very carefully.

I would guess that losing would be more psychological problem then mathematical problem. They are still far ahead of everyone else that they could lose 2*-3 games and mathematically nothing would happen and they could still win the league.

However, losing does come with a problem on their minds, and that could cause them to not be great for the rest of the season. They may want to leave for a better club as well, that could be a trouble, if there is a big offer from a big club, they may not play greatly because they want to just leave for that club and force teams hand to make the sale. All in all, it is not about 3 points, it is about something much bigger than that.

Verona has really performed poorly this season as they only won one win and two draws and the rest ended in defeats. look at the standings table, it will take a pretty hard performance for Verona to get out of the relegation zone. before verona sat at the bottom of the standings there was ac monza who filled in first but slowly ac monza was able to rise from the several matches they managed to win. then verona can learn from ac monza even though it is very difficult but they have to do it in order to be able to maintain to stay in serie A. there are still many games to come for them to improve and I hope the verona management can overhaul their squad in this winter window.

verona is 8 adrift of spezia which is a safe point to remain in serie A next season. the distance of 8 points might be pursued by Verona if they are able to make big changes in the remaining matches this season. I think this is purely not the fault of the players or the coach, it's just that they have been really inconsistent since the start of the season.

8 points is a very big difference when we talk about the relegation zone. Indeed, currently Serie A still has a very sufficient number of matches for Verona to rise from their current position, but as you said changing coaches alone is not enough to make them boost their current position and get out of the relegation zone. If they do that, then they will build chemistry again because of new players joining. And usually when new players come they will need to adapt again and of course their chemistry will not be formed very quickly. So it would be better if they keep the players they already have, or if necessary they bring in the players they really need to strengthen the depth of their squad.

I don't know if you know but Juventus is currently under investigation for false accounting and I think they have much more to think about in the championship.  Their board of directors dissolved a few days ago and now they are all under investigation.  This is again a nightmare for the fans that takes them back a few years when it was relegated to Serie B due to the Moggi case.  They risk relegation again.
