But I'm surprised that some of them say or assume that Roma is a great team because they were coached by Mourinho. Unless Mourinho can take Roma strong in the top four then surely that is a constant improvement.
Because if Roma can only win the title in the Europa Conference League last season, I think it still can't be used as a high achievement. Considering that the opponents in the Europa Conference League last season weren't all strong opponents, so it's only natural that Roma could win the title in the Europa Conference League last season.

But the main target of Roma recruiting Mourinho is of course about improving performance and being consistent to compete in the top four in Serie A, and if Mourinho has not been able to bring Roma strong in the top four then I think Roma are still very weak as a big team in Serie A.

This year, I'm also supporting Napoli.  I'm tired of seeing the same teams win the championship all the time.  At the moment Napoli are playing matches in perfect harmony.  They have won against the toughest teams in Serie A.  They are producing new star players.  Osimhen, Eljif Elmas, Min Jae are some of them.  Of course, the young Georgian striker is also on this list.  Nobody thought that Napoli could dominate the league like this.  What they will do for the rest of the league is what really matters.

To be honest, Roma does not have a squad strong enough to win the Serie A title. Roma's squad lacks enough talented players. If the Roma management had raised enough funds and added talented players to the squad, maybe Roma could have fought for the title. But now Roman performance is not stable. Although it has been said that in football anything can happen however, in my own opinion I do not think that anything can happen in the case of AS Roma and their performance and standing in the Italian league table at the end of the season. Why do I say so? They are still in under a process, they won the European conference league last season which is a great step in the right direction. With a top class manager of the caliber of Jose Mourinho but they are yet to have the team to compete in the top four. It is going to take them a few more season to be there. Bearing in mind that their top players are all out with injuries.
