He was already a great defender and it was always known that he would eventually leave. During this season Ritsu Doan performance is so impressive that after transfered from PSV to Freiburg this summer he can adapt quickly with his current team and bringing Freiburg reach to second position under Bayern on Bundesliga and he was performing well too at world cup with scoring 2 goals at that tournament and bringing Japan qualifed to round of 16 so i am not surprised if Roma putting him into their watchlist and possibly will bought him from Freiburg and he is the typical player who able to playing well at different positions such as wingers or second striker so if Roma really bought him this will be a good advantage for them
