I'm curious what Juventus will do in the rest of the season. Before the World Cup started, they started to bandage their wounds by starting a solid winning streak in the Serie A. It was like most people were talking about a probability of Allegri to get sacked in the near future after seeing the team performance in the Champions League especially. But Allegri started to increase his credit in the team by focusing on fixing the issues in the Serie A. Now we see them at the 3rd position even if there is a big gap with the leader for the title.

Juventus are lucky about this break also because it was a big opportunity for their injured players to recover. Now not only the fans but also the new board will expect Allegri's team to perform strongly in the Serie A and Europa League both. Otherwise we might start talking about Allegri's future again.

Doubts about Allegri had grown immensely. Since the world cup is being played, the break in the league must have made Allegri happy the most. If we do not mention Napoli's top performance, they are close enough to pass Milan at the moment. We are talking about a difference of only 2 points. Also, Allegri has only 2 defeats in the league and this is an acceptable statistic in my opinion. We all know how difficult Serie A is. I think Allegri will play more successful matches with Juventus.

Yes, Allegri can now breathe a little easier after he was able to return to bringing positive results for Juventus. If he can't show what we see now from Juventus, then he will get more pressure including actually being sacked by management. This long break is a distinct advantage for Allegri because with the long time he has during the break he can use it to find where the weakest point is in his club by conducting an overall evaluation of every match they have played.
Their journey back begins in the next few days, I'd like to see how far Allegri can take advantage of this league break.

Inter Milan have worse form than Napoli in this season and in recent matches. However they have good players who can have their shows in a good match day and can help Inter Milan to get three points.

Napoli are stronger but they will have to play at the home stadium of Inter Milan. Giuseppe Meazza is not a friendly stadium for guest team like Napoli. They will have play with their best, with more than 100% energy and over performance to beat Inter Milan.

Better players according to who though? I mean if they had such a better players then why are they not at the top and Napoli is? If you ask me Napoli has a better team overall, and maybe there could be a few players in Inter that is better than Napoli players, but that's not as a whole team, the others are worse so that on average we are talking about Napoli being better. This is why they are at the top and won't be passed by Inter neither.

I understand that Milan may have a chance, they are closer with 8 point difference which is still 3 losses away and possible because there are so many games to go but I still think that it wouldn't be that easy.

The thing is if they can improve and perform, consistently like they have been doing before the World Cup, till the end of the season, I do not think there will be too many problems.

Mister Spalletti in Italy has the label of "eternal second" every time the winter period arrives, the teams coached by Spalletti drop in performance! It has already happened with Rome, Inter and Naples last season. What I mean is not that it will happen again this time but it is a factor that should not be underestimated, I don't think Inter expects Napoli to come to Milan to lose this big match, but Inter will absolutely play to win this match, to reopen the championship and also have the possibility of winning the Scudetto, even if it will be very difficult for Inter in this endeavor

The competition will start again in Italy in exactly 2 days. Juventus have a nice opponent to open, out to Cremonese. There are more difficult opponents imaginable. I don't know how Napoli will come out of the winter break, if they have the form of the first half of the season then Inter Milan obviously has little chance. But that is not the case at the moment. Inter will feel supported by a large home crowd, which will certainly play a role in this phase of the competition. Inter Milan still believes in its title chances, but then this match will have to be won. Currently 11 points behind. With a win there are 8, but with a loss 14. That can no longer be made up.

I agree, inter match will be a real challenge for Napoli to proof that they are the kings, getting at least 1 point will be great for Napoli in such match because inter will put all their efforts to stop Napoli and restart the race for the serie A title, im looking forward for this match and i believe it will be one of the best matches in the round

I think the fact that Inter is playing at home is their only advantage against Napoli.Napoli has been dominating the Serie A since it beginning and I don't think a single game can threaten their campaign to the title this year.If they lose this game it will only give hopes to Milan,Juventus,Inter and Lazio that nothing is definitive as of yet as there are about 20 or more games until the end of the Serie A so plenty of time for the other teams to have a go at the title.

I think though that Napoli is not going to lose and that the worse can happen to them is a draw and as such they don't risk that much by losing only two points when they are in a very comfortable position leading the Serie A.

Well, it's true that there is no picture of Inter vs Napoli who will win, but Napoli had a good performance before without losing, you could say this is a good start, some say if you lose, you will face some other problems, but I don't think too much about Napoli where they can stay consistent like at the start of the season, it's just that we have to see for the half of the season that will start and this is still an illustration that Napoli will play dominantly.

Relegation zone seems boring this season, the three teams at the bottom are doing poorly and the closest team to them are spezia with 6 points difference its a big gap for teams unable to win to overcome, and all of them will have tough games in the next rounds so no changes expected on the bottom of the table at least for a while.

But this season is very different for Verona, 15 matches just one win, and 2 draws made them crumble at the bottom and their defense this season is the worst defense for Verona when compared to the previous few seasons.

The club is currently undergoing an internal problem. the condition of the team is not tied around the player's Performance only. The club's strength was much upon players like Giovanni Simeone, Mateo Cancellieri, and Gianluca Capriari who were sold out before the beginning of this season, and this left the club at this detrimental stage. Even with that, the club is still at the edge of selling out one of the best defenders; Josh Doic. These I think are all as a result of financial constraints.

It's hard to see them when they are left behind by their core players and immediately start the season so this could indeed be the last thing for Verona in Serie A.
Their condition is very bad now of course finances will affect performance and selling players is one of their hopes even though they really need these players to strengthen the club.
It's a shame they are now stranded in the relegation zone.

They are still having problems and right now the investigation into Calciopoli is still ongoing so as long as this is not decided I think it will be a bit annoying and certainly on their game especially if this is confirmed.
Even though their current performance is good, I think this will have a slight impact later, and it's not impossible that their performance will also decrease because of this.

Cremonese is a very weak team this season which is still in the relegation zone, so it is clear that Juventus will easily get full points when Juventus face Cremonese later. Apart from the fans who have come back to believe in Juventus, the team and the coaches themselves also still have a very strong determination to bring Juventus to a better position and it has been proven that Juventus are currently in third place with very close points for second place.

Injuries are a part of the game and big teams should have enough players to replace the main one which Juve failed to assure since the number of injured players in some games is quite big..

People didn't aware about that. Juventus has been slowly going back to the its best performance. I think that it's quite clear that if juventus can become better and better from time to the time. People were taking the early season as a thing to be used to judge the club while the season is still very long to go. I think that juventus will be able to stay at the top 4 consider juventus may continue to have another win streak again.
It's pretty good to see that after so many blame came to the juventus and this club has been starting to prove itself worthy enough to be considered as a strong team again in italian league.

Few more points and it should be easy for juventus to catch napoli as they will put on the pressure every single matchday , this gonna be interesting to watch till the end of the season. I bet that something unexpected could happened still .. such as the rise of ac milan! They are a bit firgotten this season.
