The first half was under control of Inter. They played a really dominant game and they could have scored much earlier as well. I'm afraid Lukaku was quite ineffective in this match. He had two important chances to score but wasted them really generously at the same time. He couldn't even control the ball properly on his first chance. It looks like he is still not much different than his performance with Belgium in the World Cup. Napoli could have scored a goal in the last moments of the first half as well.

Napoli defense continued to give spaces to their opponent and Dzeko benefited from it. Rrahmani couldn't mark him well and he scored a nice header. Even after that the biggest chance for Napoli came in the 90th minute which was saved by Onana well. Napoli's performance must be worrying for the fans but let's see how quick they will recover.

The defeat to Inter Milan was Napoli's first defeat of the season and Inter Milan became the first club to break Napoli's unbeaten run of 16 matches in Serie A.

I'm also sorry for Napoli's defeat at the Giuseppe Meazza. We must admit that Inter Milan managed to take advantage of Napoli's players' negligence in between their good games.
Since Edin Dzeko scored in the 56th minute, the hope that Napoli could fight back was very much in my favour, but chance after chance failed to become a goal.

Although Napoli lost, they are still the ruler of the table with a distance of 5 points from AC Milan who are in second place.

No one can maintain a winning record in a club, because the Serie A League is very difficult for any club to maintain their successive wins, for example Juventus in a few years ago, they were almost unbeatable, but at the end of the season juventus actually succumbed to the club  small and eventually the successive wins disappeared, so there were no strong clubs in Serie A, even though Inter Milan only won narrowly but this victory, was a decisive victory for all clubs in the top 4 of the Serie A standings this season, Of course it was not easy for Napoli to win  match at San Siro because it will affect their game in front of Inter Milan fans who really want victory to happen..

Inter competed fiercely with Napoli. Napoli missed some critical passes that would have been converted into goals, and this is what gives me concern  because they appear to be playing differently before the world cup. Many football fans would have predicted that Napoli will maintain their unblemished record, but football games are unpredictable until the last whistle. Now, Napoli's prospects of clinching the championship this season may be in jeopardy if they lose their upcoming game.

Wow, who would have thought old players like Dzeko and Giroud could be the winner for their team so far. Even though these two players are not players with the luxury of Ronaldo and Messi but to be honest, with them getting older they can still play well and can make a big contribution to their team.

But I don't really know how inter does this thing, they always get to win their important Matches no matter how difficult the opponent seems to be even when they barely posses the ball. Now they are in the fourth place. Now the competition is locked between the best four. This is where the game of consistent win begins. Napoli is still safe but two straight lose can cost them extra effort to secure the title.

There are still 5 points between Inter-Milan and Napoli. Napoli could not play the expected game in this match. It would be unfair to evaluate Napoli's pace with this match. Inter have become the first team to stop Napoli finally. It was a really crucial win for not only themselves but only the others. Because Milan also have made the point gap with Napoli five again after this. Suddenly the championship competition has been fired up quite much. Maybe I would like to see Napoli reaching the title anyway but I just hope to see a title rivalry for a long time.

Dzeko scored the only goal in the game. Inter were quite well against them in general. Napoli were still statistically better though but it didn't help them get even one point.

Napoli was dominating the match against intermilan. It has more ball possessions, moveover napoli has been making more shots compared with intermilan but that's very sad to say that napoli is not lucky enough in that match caused by dzeko has been scoring for intermian. The defensive line of intermilan is doing its job so well. Glad to see that the competition become even better caused by the gap between napoli and ac milan become even closer than before. I think that ac milan has a chance to win the scudetto for this season if napoli keeps declining like that. It seems like that the rumour about anyteam coached by spalletti will have its performance declined so hard until the end of season

Inter were much better in the first half. They finally scored the goal they were searching for in the second half. Napoli were still having problems after conceding the goal as well. The statistics are misleading. Inter had quite many dangerous attacks and they could have scored even more. Napoli need to work hard to win their next game after this inadequate performance.

Yesterday we witnessed some good results and good matches in the Italian league. Lazio lost 2-1 away to Lecce after leading 1-0. A sad result for them. Roma and juventus won their first official match after a long time, even if it was 1-0, which is a good development for them. In the important match of the day inter defeated napoli 1-0 and napoli got their first defeat in the league. Napoli didn't play badly but I don't think inter deserved this game either. For me the match should have ended in a draw at worst.

Inter vs Napoli was the biggest one and Napoli finally got their first ever loss this week, which didn't hurt them all that much for now, because they still have 5 point difference to the closest team, another 2 game difference. However, it also shows how amazing Milan has been, to a team that had only 1 loss all year, they are just 5 points away, I am guessing that is a good help to chase for a title.

Napoli will need to be a lot more careful, they need to keep winning more and more games to keep the distance, if they have like a few bad games in a row then it's all gone for them, would probably not protect the difference at all. We will see how it goes, won't be too easy.

Dzeko who was a sticker who was believed earlier this season as a back-up for Romelu Lukaku but he has proven that he is capable of making an extraordinary contribution even at his old age.
