Maybe Milan won today but I don't believe it was easy at all. In the first two minutes of the match Monza got very close to getting ahead two times. Tatarusanu made two important saves there. There was some goalkeeper difference in this match mostly as well. But I don't want to be unfair to Monza's goalkeeper about preventing a big goal chance by Milan. The score could have been 2-0 otherwise. Besides Monza got very close to making it 1-1 later on as well.

Ciurria had a big opportunity but Milan was really lucky there. Because his shot hit the post first then the goalkeeper and it hit the post again.    Milan still need to do better than this if they want to have a lasting good form.

After losing from Inter Milan on derby, slowly AC Milan returning back to the winning trend in last three matches on all competition from Champion League and two games in domestic league. The winning games from AC Monza tonight make Milan close points with Inter Milan and have one points left until second half match Inter still held draw by Udinese.
