Lecce beathen Atalanta. Lecce is a small team but got very good games versus the big of Serie A.

This is Atalanta's first defeat since entering mid-season in their home match record
Next week will be even more interesting because Atalanta will face Milan, last week they managed to beat the team above them, Lazio. Can Atalanta face the ambitious Milan next week?

Yes, you are right and we couldn't predict see Atalanta losing this game against a team like Lecce specialty when if you think they are in Lecce on the 13th of the table and they don't have any famous stars like Atalanta, however, Atalanta is not that much famous and powerful team but still we couldn't expect to see that result from this game but still the game was mostly under the control of Atalanta and they had 69 percent of the full game but still they lost the game in the end.

on paper Atalanta should be able to win but that's why there are always surprises in football in the Italian league, I think Atalanta underestimated Lecce too much so that the results were quite unsatisfactory and losing by Lecce 1 - 2 was a hard blow for Atalanta to be able to self-reflect to become more better in the future

This will serve as a warning to them in the future when they face another smaller club. They seriously undervalued Lecce. Possession, passes, and shots were all in their favor, but they were unable to defeat Leece. Leece would have kept a clean sheet today if it hadn't been for Lasmus' late goal.

But indeed in this case they always have difficulty wading through the season. I am not surprised at the perfect form of Juventus.They had this perfect form also before the sanction to remove them 15 points from the Italian Football Federation but of course it wouldn't benefited them much as even if they had 15 points not removed they still cannot compete with Napoli,normally no team can compete with their consistency during this year,even Inter had a lucky win against them.This year the Serie A is already over and Napoli is winning game after game and they just need like 5-6 more wins to make it a mathematically impossible Championship to win for other teams.If they win for example the next 5 games,only 10 remain until the end of the Serie A and with 10 games with 17 points difference it would be impossible for any team to win the Serie A.

There was no mistake by Juventus again this time against Spezia. But the win wasn't very easy actually because Spezia also found so many opportunities for scoring. The gap with the 6th position in the standings is still nine points for Juventus though. It will be very difficult for Juventus to catch up with the position even though there are still fifteen weeks to go.

I know Atalanta surprised everyone and lost to Lecce home today. But I don't think they will be too inconsistent to create a big chance for Juventus.

This is not the first time they have done this because before that they also lost to Sassuolo even though it happened because of a red card in the first half.
But indeed this is obviously very unfortunate because they are one of the dark horse clubs that I still hope to be in the Champions League Zone and with this defeat even though they can still be there but the conditions are now they have to improve their performance if they want that to happen.

Juventus' performance was just impressive and they got a deserved 2-0 win.

However I also agree about Spezia's having many goal chances during the game. But they were really incapable of taking a very effective shot most of the time. There were just two times I saw a really great work by them but the goalkeeper Perin made two really good saves also. Especially Di Maria's goal was really impressive by the way. It was a very decent shot to the right corner that it was really hard to save for most of the goalkeepers. Juventus are still determined to do their best in the league despite having a really bad punishment.

It still hurts whenever I think of how Juventus drop from one of the top standings in the table to struggling at the bottom. I could have sworn that they were going to be in the finals with Napoli but now their chances are close to nothing. Despite this win which I believe they truly deserve, I hope to see them at least in the 5th position on the table if is possible.

Last season and this season looked a bit the same for Atalanta even though now is their momentum to get back to a decent position after last season's conditions were quite bad.
It is clear that at the moment they are actually without a burden because they are not playing in a busy competition and their schedule is also not too busy but indeed their performance has not shown a good increase in performance for them.
With this defeat they have to try again to be in good condition because indeed they have now been thrown into 6th position even though it is still good for them but I think their goal as a club that always gives surprises is not the place here.

Spezia is a formidable foe, but they were unable to keep the elderly players in the game. It is a complete waste to watch Spezia dominate the game with no positive outcomes; they are losers. Perin, the goalie for Juventus, made some outstanding saves on the field and was named MOTM. As Turin's keeper against Spezia, he made seven clean saves during the contest. The league has been challenging for the players go for the old ladies received a 15-point penalty for violating league rules, placing them seventh on the standings. Seeing their club struggle to fill positions for the UEFEA the next season is frustrating.

Surprise like this is not something new, we often see it in several Serie A matches almost every week there is a surprise
In several other matches the top team managed to win Lazio 2-0 Juventus 2-0 and Roma 1-0 only Atalanta is unlucky

There weren't many goals today compared to other leagues.
Atalanta dominated the game from start to finish but unfortunately lost at home. It must be said that they lost an important 3 points for themselves. Lecce scored 2 goals with 2 accurate shots.
Lazio struggled away from home but managed to win the match. Their away win in the week when Atalanta lost put them above Atalanta.
Juventus continue to win. It is important for them to close the points difference. Maybe they will have a chance to qualify for the European Cup.

A really good result for roma today, this win was an important one since it allowed them to move back to the third position, the game was really tough since verona team recently has improved and they are trying to escape the relegation zone so even this thin win is a positive for roma team in my opinion, now the most important thing are the points not the performance.
