Maybe Lazio's statistics aren't bad, but what do those statistics matter when you look at Napoli's statistics as well? I think Napoli's statistics are more telling than Lazio's.

The plan for Napoli tonight is to not lose. They have demanding weeks upcoming and don't have to risk too much in the Serie A games. That could be one advantage for Lazio here as they need to fight the hardest fight they can while Napoli could perhaps play at 95% to keep some power in the tank for the tasks in the Champions League. You know, some times football gives this funny upsets. Ordinarily, the game should be in Napoli's favor seeing as they have retained most of the possessions; making most of the deadly shots but none has seen the net. initially I felt the game would either end in a draw or in favor of Napoli, but from the looks of things, Osimhen and his guys would have to be served a cold dinner and even though they've lost three points, they still seat proudly at 1st place but Lazio will have a little to celebrate for as this win pushes them 3rd place above AC Milan.

I really can't believe this result. Napoli had to lose at home to Lazio. with a score of 0-1. It appears they just suffered there second defeat in the season since January 3rd. Napoli was some worth dull today, at least up till the moment they conceived a goal which I think, could have been avoided.

Khvicha had a lot of options to have headed that ball, there was 3 idle players on the defence backline which were in anticipation for the ball and could have had an easy clearance even with the fact that, there box was under attack but, Khvicha chose to head the ball forward and eventually did set a perfect ball for M. Vecino and what a good strike it was, swift and precise into the far corner of the goal post of which, there was absolutely nothing the goalkeeper could have done about that.

Good for them, they remain top still and with over 17 points difference which is way too good to win the league.
