Actually I saw the strategy that José Mourinho used for his team in the first half was a bit bad. the players were not encouraged to be more aggressive in the first half. but Mourinho completely changed strategy in the second half. and the result was very good for the second half. But still playing with 10 players is not as good as playing with 11 people. but Sassoulo did seem to have difficulty holding back Roma's attacks in the second half. I think Roma underestimated Sassuolo a bit in the first half at first.

I don’t know about the strategy of being more aggressive during the second half, what I do know is that I think the red card gotten by Roma during the first half of the game told on them during the second half. And with about 4 players on Roma’s side receiving a card, it was quite an aggressive game. Playing with 10 players is also a setback and I think Sassuolo knew that and utilized that setback.
I also think Roma might have underestimated Sassuolo a bit or perhaps Sassuolo was the team who was better prepared.

That is such a elegant way of putting it. I agree that they have played very well recently and they are playing a different type of football, such a football that it is definitely worth watching a 90 minute full game if people haven't seen them in a while, they are really playing in a way that resembles the greatest and that is only because they try to elevate each other and try to be a lot more "team" than most other clubs.

Managers have such a difficult job most of the time and in this case we are talking about a situation where it is obviously a managers success in this case because such beautiful football could only be played by their tactics.

They couldn't beat Fiorentina and that result was quite unhealthy for their position at the table. With just a point difference, Lazio is ahead of them and they could recover their position with a win from this match. AC Milan won the ball possessions, they made more shot attempts. So, it is very clear that AC Milan is very superior in this match. They look very motivated to win this match, they realize that winning is a must if they want to finish in UCL zone this season. According to this matter, I am sure AC Milan players will score more goals in 2nd half. I guess the final result of this match will be AC Milan 3-0 Salernitana.

Juventus had a quite productive match on this week and made it to the victory by 4-2. It was a quite interesting match also.

Vlahovic didn't have a good day that's for sure. His penalty came back from the post and there was a header by him which hit the post again. It must be feeling frustrating for him not to score any goal in a match like this. Sampdoria resisted them really well in the first half by the way. They scored 2 goals in 2 minutes and made it 2-2 all of a sudden. That effort deserved appreciation. But they were still one of the weakest teams in the league so they couldn't resist longer against Juventus' powerful attacking game.

Not the most productive of the games I would say when they got 2-2 after leading the game in their home field against the last place in the standings in the first half.It was a penalty that made them get back on track and to win the game in the second half but that was not one of the solid performances I am used to see when Juventus plays,most probably because they were tired from Europa League game which they won with the minimal 1-0 result against Freiburg.

Tonight Milan making it look easy to take the win and with that win they will be in second place and most likely will be in that place until the end of the tournament.

the Italian championship this year is offering many twists for the teams that are from second place to seventh place, Inter lose badly against Spezia but Atalanta, Rome and Lazio do not take advantage of it and remain chasing, Milan remains who play tonight and could grab Inter in second place on an equal footing, Napoli are now unreachable and they are now only 6 away from winning the Scudetto with 6 games to spare. Juventus despite the penalty are catching up and are -11 points from fourth place now, I think the fight to get into the Champions League will be really exciting from now on

Yes and I'm very curious about it. Will the second, three and four positions (as a requirement for qualifying for the Champions League) be filled by different teams from last season? There are two new teams that have the potential to fill the top four of Serie A, Lazio and Roma, while the other two teams Inter and Milan will work hard to maintain their position in the top four of Serie A.

In addition, this has been the worst season for Juventus because for more than seven seasons they have never been eliminate from the top of the standings, this will be the first season that Juventus have not play in the Champions League next season.

the fight for access to the Champions League will be really fought right to the end, if we have different teams compared to last year I can't tell you, certainly the worst set is Juventus also considering the penalty points inflicted by the sports justice it will be really difficult for them achieve fourth place, I believe that in the end they will go to the Champions League, Napoli, Inter Milan and Rome, Lazio and Juventus to the Europa League, Atalanta Conference League! this is my prediction

I don't understand why Milan are doing this now. I mean they were very impressive in the first half by dominating it fully. Salernitana didn't even have proper chances to score. However Milan decreased the level of dominance in the second half after getting ahead already. They shouldn't play like this. They need to go for more goals to secure their wins.

Salernitana aren't one of the top teams maybe but they still shouldn't be underestimated even a bit. They have just scored the equalizer and I wonder what Milan's answer will be to that.

Since Salernitana has tied the game at 1-1, AC Milan is exerting more effort to win the game while also controlling the field and playing very interesting football with numerous attractive attacks. This was one of those games that you lose because you did everything wrong in the first half. I'm surprised by Mou because he's a well-rounded technical director and he doesn't usually make those kinds of mistakes. I want to keep the positives from all this and it was with the great goal that Dybala scored, that goal is worth two! However, we in fútbol know that this is won or lost by the number of goals scored and despite the fact that almost at minute 84 Roma scored another goal, there were only 2 minutes left for the other to score,but it was too late, Mou's boys couldn't, it's unfortunate that Mou lost a game that they had to win, they lost those 3 points that they need so much.

You are right, AC Milan just played well in the 1st half, they played very badly in 2nd half. They only made more shot attempts but they failed to score a single goal in 2nd half. I think AC problem is in their attacking line, they have bad strikers. They should get better strikers in the next transfer window, sign the players who have good accuracy in shooting. They can't compete with other top teams in Serie A if they only rely on the current strikers. Ibrahimovic and Giroud should be replaced by new strikers.

This match is over and result has not changed but this result is really disappointing, Milan should be able to win at home, but they can only share points. Milan failed to preserve the 1 goal they scored in the first half and Salernitana players were able to score and defend in order to win a point from them.
At the end Milan missed a chance to get the same number of points as Inter and eventually to claim back the second spot since Inter will face Juve while Milan will face Udinese.
