Juventus got a big winning that helps them to move to round of 16 in Coppa Italia but this also helps them to show off their power to other competitors in the league. The big winning is like an announcement of Juventus to Inter Milan, after their winning against AS Roma in Serie A, that they are actually ready to challenge and beat Inter Milan in the Scudetto race.

In Coppa Italia, I agree that Juventus have good chance to lift the cup even it is not their priority. Juventus in theory are stronger than those clubs in Coppa Italia and if they play with their best performances, they will become a champion there.

Back to Serie A, after this match, Juventus will wait for Inter Milan's slippery performance to take over the first position in coming weeks. I have been wrong about this one it seems unless something happens at the end of the game. We are entering the final phase now and Bologna has many more shots, more shots on target and much higher ball possession, but it is again another game where Genoa is parking the bus and doesn't allow Bologna to get into the perfect position to finally produce some dangerous attacks. I hate games like these as they are horribly boring. But it is the strategy these teams choose once they were able to take the lead.

I have been wrong about this one it seems unless something happens at the end of the game. We are entering the final phase now and Bologna has many more shots, more shots on target and much higher ball possession, but it is again another game where Genoa is parking the bus and doesn't allow Bologna to get into the perfect position to finally produce some dangerous attacks. Well in the end Bologna managed to score a goal and equalize the score in the 95th minute and Bologna deserves it because they continue to try to attack in the second half unfortunately Bologna has not been able to jump to 4th position because still 1 point behind Fiorentina. This should be a good opportunity for Bologna to get closer to top 4 but they miss this opportunity while in the next 2 matches I'm not sure Bologna can secure points because playing 2 away games. On the other hand Genoa consistently did not lose points in the last 4 matches, they continue to collect 1-3 points from each game and stay away from degradation.

It was a narrow escape from the home team, not until the extra minute that they scored the equalizing goal to level the match and share the points. At some point during the game the ball possession went up to almost 70% for Bologna I think, but then their biggest issue came into play and that is scoring goals. Out of all the top clubs at the top of the table, Bologna has by far the worst offense and this. could clearly be seen in this game. That is why they are so concerned with defending their goal and keeping a clean sheet because they know that on average they don't score a lot of goals. It almost cost them the game this time again if it wasn't for that very late goal scored by them thanks to Silvestri in the 95th minute of the game. A win would have bin great for them as they could have increased the gap, but now they are getting a bit stuck with only 1 point out of the last 2 games.

Unfortunately, I think Bologna will win from my expectations because this team is extraordinary in every match because they are in 6th place in Serie A at the moment, but against Genoa they looked very difficult even though they had threatened Genoa's goal several times, but I admit that Martinez did saved several kicks from Bologna.

I actually would put Juventus above Inter Milan, to be honest. They are having financial problems as far as I know and it may push them to sell one of their key players. I am already hearing rumors about Calhanoglu being linked with other clubs. They have very intense fixtures coming up as well. Napoli playing against Torino does seem to carry a degree of risk, considering the close gap on table of the league. But this game is a test for Mazzari on how his team react to his tactics and play the game with determination to win. At first we thought the same thing but so far it did not have an impact on Inter Milan even since the group stage in the Champions League Inter Milan is still consistent with several matches in Serie A on the contrary Juventus even missed several opportunities, besides that Inter Milan has a complete squad and does not rely on one player they have 3 players in the attack line as a goal scorer if one of them is injured then there are other players who can replace but if the injury is for a long time then it will be a problem.
