AS Roma are seeking to enter and finish the season in the top four of the Italian Serie A so they can guarantee themselves UEFA Champions League football next season and that's why I'm of the opinion that they should've delivered a better performance than they did against Fiorentina yesterday. The Italian Serie A title winner this season I think is almost decided because league leaders Inter Milan are currently leading the league table with 16 points so i think it's almost impossible for any of the other teams to catch up with them

It is not the first time that Roma looks as if they have more control over the game, but they lack some quality to create chances, to use that ball possession and more often put their opponents under serious pressure. You can see it from the number of shots on target: Roma had 5 shots on target with 68% ball possession and Fiorentina had 5 shots on target with only 32% ball possession.

That was not quite the result they were hoping for as Bologna and Juventus both failed to win their games. That was another chance to get closer to the top four positions here. Though I have to add that Fiorentina is a reasonably good team at the moment and not to be beaten easily in their home stadium. I think in summary Roma is happy about the point as they were actually on the bring of losing the game.

AS Roma improved a lot since the dismissal of Mourinho. Even that draw against Fiorentina was kinda appreciated since they scored two goals even though they were close to lose it until the last minutes.
Roma have to secure a place for one of UEFA competition next year. In my opinion, picking Bologna spot and go to Champions League will be a great achievement, otherwise securing the actual Europa League spot have to be done quickly.

I felt thar was enough time for Lazio to pile the pressure on Udinese to force the equalizer. I don't know what happened as I stopped watching after Immobile was taken off. That's another loss for Lazio in less than a week. They got thrashed out of the UCL knockout stage and then lose at home here to Udinese. They'd have to do better because Lazio used to get good results a few weeks ago, now a shadow of former self with this back to back losses.

We have once again seen a very terrible outing by Lazio tonight as it seems their days of doom lingers. They had the chance of fighting for a spot at the external competitions next season after crashing out of the champions league, courtesy of Bayern Munic, the German destroyers who never felt any pity for them in that encounter. It was expected though because Lazio was able to summon courage to win Bayern Munic 1-0, this I believe was what infuriated Bayern Munic that made them reply them in the manner they did. Udinese winning Lazio in their home is a bad result for Lazio.
