There is no other way to comfort fans from disappointment than by winning the Serie A title this season. People thought Inter could qualify for the Champions League quarter-finals this season because Atletico Madrid was a relatively easy opponent, but that was a mistake due to the fact that Atletico Madrid really played well in the second leg.

Inter Milan have been very impressive this season both in the Italian domestic competitions and in the European Cup but unfortunately for them, they were eliminated in the round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League competition which has made a lot of people to question their depth and strength as a team.
