Atalanta vs Roma could be the big match this week, where both teams are trying to get tickets to the Champions League, but the chance of this match ending in a draw is wide open, or Atalanta winning three points because the home match will give Atalanta an advantage.

AS Roma have drastically better performance under Daniele De Rossi era although with current performance inconsistency, first time arrived Roma get difficult reach to higher standings position and he was success made Roma qualified to semifinal round of Europe League.

I think De Rossi is the right manager for Roma because what his done in the last several months is very fantastic and Roma can performing well again under him and if i am not mistaken Roma has been announce about De Rossi future in this team because last month Roma owner officially has give De Rossi new contract and whatever the result of this season but it is confirmed De Rossi will being an Roma manager until season 2024/2025 and just like i said before Roma owner hasn't targetting the trophy this season so that's why whether it Roma lost or win against Leverkusen later then De Rossi position is still safe

About Roma chances for the match against Leverkusen on Europa League i think it's very hard because they have already to lost 2-0 in the first leg and Leverkusen is too strong to playing at their home and hard to beated so obviously Roma will be eliminated by Leverkusen and about Roma chances to playing at Champion League recently i have been realized about new regulation of Champion League and Serie A will gets 5 representative for that competition which mean if Roma want to playing at Champion League then they have to finish at least on the 5th place and the match against Atalanta this weekend is very important because if Roma want to fulfil their target then win result is mandatory for them

De Rossi is a Roma legend who has given a lot to Roma as a player and now as a coach, although he does not have much experience in coaching but finally he got a contract with Roma after Mourinho was fired, to be honest, I am personally quite surprised by his appointment as Roma coach at the time and I am pessimistic if he is able to bring Roma to be better than Mourinho after he officially became Roma coach this season,  De Rossi doesn't have a lot of experience coaching big teams so a lot of people including me think, is he capable?

I think with the last two draws they have wasted the chance to qualify for the Champons League. Their last chance is definitely to win 3/3 remaining games, but look at Atalanta and how they have a game in hand. It is a very complicated situation for them. Signing a contract with a player or a coach, it is a gamble, only smaller or bigger in risk. Every player and coach can succeed in one club but can fail in another club, no guarantee for success.

De Rossi is a best coach for Roma in near future because he loves the club and he shown it through his player career. This means De Rossi will not ask too much from Roma like salary for him, put pressure on the club finance just to satisfy his ambitious players for transfers. I think they were more worried about him being in the third season of his coaching and the track record of him coaching a team in the third season has not been good. Yes of course the results were also not looking very good. So it did make sense that they decided to get a new coach.

Rome's current situation has actually become very unfavorable. Because in Serie A they were also moved to 6th place by Atalanta. And in the Europa League, Roma also lost in the first leg to Leverkusen with a score of 0-2. So currently the situation has become quite confusing for Rome itself. But hopes for Roma in the Europa League are also quite slim because they will find it difficult to beat Leverkusen who are superior on aggregate. I am really sad to see that this De Rossi period of Roma and their improvement took so little and they suddenly started to be not that great again. I mean they played so well when he first came in, went up in positions, and now looking at it they are back to sixth place.

A team that could have been fourth and do so well, ended up being sixth because of the last few weeks and that is not really that great for them, I hope that they get better and they do not end up with losing much more points. Very few games left, I do not know how they could recover from this and I am fearing that we are going to end up with something that will take some time.
