Denzel Dumfries' departure that they're yet to replace I think will be a major setback for them next season as they fight to retain the Scudetto. Inter Milan are surely my favourites to win the Italian Serie A again but I also think that AC Milan will likely be pushing for the title now that Ruben Amorim is at the club

Dumfries away from Inter is a hard blow, because a player perhaps not technically perfect but with truly remarkable explosiveness and leg strength, and not having someone with these characteristics penalizes you a bit, AC Milan with Amorim can rediscover its true identity and create a game that works, hoping it doesn't end up like last year which also filled the fans with chatter and then in the end it was a disappointment compared to expectations.

I won't have high expectations for AC Milan with their new coach because I think it will be difficult for a new coach to adapt immediately and make major changes. Everything takes time and process, and that's also true for Amorim with AC Milan.
As for Inter Milan, I think they will remain as they have always been. They are the favorites to win the Scudetto again, regardless of who comes and goes, because I believe this team already has a very strong team structure.

In recent years in the Italian league, we've seen teams close in points until the final weeks. Some results in the final weeks determine the champion. When an elite team like Inter Milan loses a main player, they're suppose to scout the market and bring in a well fitted replacement for that outgoing player because his presence and contributions to the team will no longer be there, but Inter Milan are just relaxed thinking they can win the scudetto again, that's not going to be an easy run for them because they know what they gotten themselves in.

Dumfries was one of my favorite defender in Seria A and the day I admire his qualities as a defender was when he deliver a masterclass against Barcelona in the UEFEA Champions League, he prove himself beyond every reasonable doubt and got elite teams opening links to sign him. Dumfries departure will surely create a vacuum space in Inter Milan and we know his importance in the backline.

The decision to have at least three Italian players on the pitch is not a solution in my opinion. They implemented something similar in Turkey, but it resulted in some Turkish players being transferred at undeservedly high prices. The result in Italy would be exactly the same. The important thing is to invest in youth development and quickly integrate players into the main squad. From what I've seen in recent years, Spanish teams do this very well, especially Barcelona.

I was truly delighted to learn that Nico Paz, who had been rumored to be re-signed by Real Madrid, had actually chosen to stay longer at Como. And Como really worked hard to retain this star player. As a result, Como ultimately signed Nico Paz on a permanent basis for 60 million euros.

Yes we can all agree that Mancini is way better than Prilo, but we also all know that Italy needs fresh things and Mancini is part of the old football so i dont know what to really think, for me both of them are not the right option for the italian federation, they need to start to look outside if they dont have any good coach around, but seems like their patriotic proud is making them stick with Italian coachs.

Italy is currently going through a crisis, and it's evident in its squad, and a few good players won't be enough to win trophies. Italy went through something similar once, when they began introducing restrictions on the number of foreign players in Serie A teams, and that began to improve the situation, but now those restrictions are gone. I'd like to believe that Mancili can improve the Italian national team's performance, but leading any team out of a crisis is no easy task.

The more you look less at home, the more you empower people outside and the more you downplay the talented players within. I hope the Italian managements will understand the harm this might be causing the relevance of their indigenous players. It is not what happen in a day or a year, it is something which happens over a long period of time. The likes of Roberto Baggio and Maldini, all these hall of fame players are no longer the names we use to hear again and the replacements are no longer as popular too. Just imagine Italy could not even perform at the 2026 FIFA world cup because they failed to qualify and these are all the ripple effect to the longstanding problems you have talked about.

There are clubs that some newspapers have unmasked where managers get paid to get their children into the squad, perhaps in the spring, they do it for the money but in reality they damage football irremediably, because by doing so they deprive a potential player of coming forward. and this is precisely what i are talking about, national Italian football, should start from these things.

The loss of Dumfries isn’t too significant, as Benjamin Pavard is already in place as his replacement and has been performing well. Additionally, Inter has also signed John Stones. Yes, although John Stones’ natural position is center back, he’s also effective when playing as a right back, as he did at Manchester City. Inter, of course, remains the favorite to win the Serie A title, but defending that title won’t be easy, especially since other teams like Milan, Napoli, and Juventus are improving their squads to compete for the Serie A title.

Restructuring both the national team down to the national academy should be the long lasting measures to be taken. That said, there's a here we go for Kolo Muani from Tottenham Hotspur to Juventus. It simply means Joshua Zirkzee will not be leaving.

I'm convinced that Como will do well next season. They have the players and a proper manager, Cesc Fabregas who will lead them to achieve trophies next season. He was one of Italy's most legendary footballers. Our generation doesn't know him very well; we know almost every player who played in the 90s, but we're a bit distant from those of the 80s. If I remember correctly, I saw him in one of the legendary squads in an old FIFA game.

With the signings Como have made, I am still not fully convinced that they will really do as well as many people are expecting. What they have done in the past has made many people start having higher expectations for them this season.If Como want to perform well in these two competitions, they need to sign a few more quality players so they can have better squad rotation. If the same players keep playing every match without enough rest, their performance will eventually decline.Fabregas needs to make the most of this transfer window by bringing in more players to strengthen the squad. Those signings should be experienced, high-quality players, not players who still need a lot of development. Como need players who can make an immediate and significant contribution to the team

Many think that the quality of Como depends exclusively on how they choose to move on the market, Como has developed a team game that made it the most offensive attack of last season, the right pieces in the right place are enough to create a competitive team, just look at Ranieri's Leicester City, moreover they have demonstrated enough that unity is strength, their team play is the winning card.
