Baresi, a true legend, has passed away at the age of 66.

Dumfries departure will surely create a vacuum space in Inter Milan and we know his importance in the backline.

Inter Milan actually looks like a team that’s trying to overhaul its defense. Just take a look at the current transfer window: we’ve seen Inter Milan not only let Denzel Dumfries go, but also part ways with a total of five defenders. Three players’ contracts have expired, and two have been transferred to other clubs.

So far, Inter Milan has lost five defenders they relied on last season. The players are:

Yes, I never got to see Baresi play soccer in person because I wasn’t even born yet during his era. However, I’ve watched highlights of Baresi’s matches, and it turns out he was an incredible center back.
