Schalke is trying to get Huntelaar back to prevent begin degraded. He is old but showed yesterday that he still scores easily.

He is also one of the most scored player in Europe.

   Klaas-Jan Huntelaar is already 37 years old. i don't know what schalke 04 wants with such an old player. in the bundesliga,
football is much more intense than in holland. i don't think he will be able to help the team much. but his experience won't be any help either.
I think frankfurt will win against schalke. they are not as weak as hoffenheim and then the problems start again and the fear becomes greater

the real problem that schalke 04 also has is that no new players really want to move to this club under this current situation...
after SK, another player (KJH) will most likely be brought in, who is only coming to s04 because he has a history at this club and would like to help save schalke 04 from relegation.

Yep and he told recently that he is playing his last season. So if he goes it will just be for some months.

If I was him I would stay at Ajax and go for the championship.

I remember when he came to Italy to play for AC Milan (they paid him 15€ M). He was set to become one of the most prolific strikers of the Italian Serie A but that never happened and the next year he was sold to Schalke for 14€ M. In Germany he revenged with a great scoring average.
He is 37 yrs old now, still in good shape but I do not think he could be of any help at his previous team.

If you look at the track record of Union Berlin which has always lost to Leverkusen, I seem to have a different opinion with you. I prefer Leverkusen
who will win the match, especially now that Leverkusen are in the top 3. What is certain is that Leverkusen don't want to lose points, so they can
still compete at the top. After all,  the difference in points with Leipzig is only 2 points apart. So it is very possible that Leverkusen can move up to
second place by replacing Leipzig, if Leipzig fail to win against Wolfsburg.

As I wrote here a few days ago, I am curious about how Bayern would react after the defeat against Gladbach. Unfortunately, Bayern continued its negative trend yesterday. The team doesn't seem to be in the form it was in 2020. In any case, I now see Leipzig, Dortmund and Leverkusen as title candidates for the win of the DFB Cup this year.

Wolfsburg are going to play a home game against Leipzig tomorrow. Wolfsburg are the 6th with 25 points and Leipzig are the 2nd with 31 points. Leipzig got only 1 loss on their last 5 games and Wolfsburg got only 2 wins. On the last 5 official head-to-head games, Leipzig have a dominance (3W 2D). But we should consider that Wolfsburg are the third best home team in the league now (5W 2D). I think Wolfsburg won't lose this.

Huntelaar is a big surprise in the table, in my opinion. He is a good striker but not good enough to be in the top of greatest strikers. 

He maybe isn't a world class striker but he is very deadly in the 16.

He could easily scored way more goals for the national team but he had the bad luck that he had to challeng Van Persie for that spot. The coach always choose for Van Persie while Huntelaar scored more easily. I think he just had some bad luck he wasn't a 'big name' back then.

For Schalke he still could be a big help. Maybe he can't play all matches full but he still got the drive.

Huntelaar was one of the best strikers in the whole world at his peak if you ask me, people always undervalued him but he was very capable of scoring and went as high as playing for Real Madrid at a very high level for few seasons. However even I have to realize that he is 37 years old now, sure Ibrahimovic made news when he is 40 years old and still scored bunch of goals, but even he slowed down and nowhere to be found now, so Hunterlaar is not going to be that much of a change for any team.

To be honest all he has to do is try to not relegate with the team, that is not really a huge problem, and it is not a big standard to keep neither, do not lose every single game and that's it. Obviously it will be a bit of challenge, just nothing huge, if he comes in and scores like 7 goals rest of the year, that would be a marvelous investment for Schalke as well.

Yes its important for them to get the points to regain their confidence after the loss against bayern they lost two points against werder breman at home today they play against a better team its difficult for them to get a win .

Next weeks' games for me are already decided, a bit easier games than previous week. I will play on Leverkusen versus Union Berlin game, will pick Leverkusen to win. Dortmund versus Mainz is another, and will play for Dortmund on that game as well.

I agree with you about your choices but I am quite not really confident about Leverkusen and Union games. Leverkusen sometimes drop points easily while Union has overall nice performance and it grabs at least one point from most of the games. So this game precisely is a flag for me since I expect a draw.

That red flag worked in predicting a different result in Leverkusen match but the result didn't end with a draw as I expected but rather in Union scoring a late goal and winning the game.
Nice jump Union. For Leverkusen, it is the 4th consecutive match with very poor result after being in front of Bayern.

well. the tip was a little wrong. but i also only bet on a draw. the team from the east of berlin is starting to give me the creeps  
I did not expect them to win again today .union berlin is for me the biggest surprise in the bundesliga this year.
if this team continues to play so well then they will qualify for europe ( cl or el )

I agree Union Berlin is the most surprising team this season in the Bundesliga, because so many favorite teams were defeated by Union Berlin.
Even my prediction was wrong by betting on a Leverkusen win, to be honest I was surprised by the victory of Union Berlin against Leverkusen.
If Union Berlin can consistently play well, it is not impossible to qualify for the Champions League or Europa League. Moreover, the next opponent
Union Berlin will face Leipzig, if they win against Leipzig I am even more certain that Union Berlin will qualify for the Champions League.

Leverkusen has been out of form for a few matches. They have not won the last 3 matches. So they will be desperate to win today's match. And it is very important for them to win today's match. On the other hand, if we look at the statistics of the past matches between Leverkusen and Union Berlin, we can easily understand that Berlin is a very easy opponent for Leverkusen. Berlin has not won any of their last 4 matches against Leverkusen. They had lost 4 matches.

Welp, I guess my no analysis wins the day. Although I didn't put too much though into the game, I did look at UB's previous five matches which are against tough teams by the way. I didn't check H2H or injuries from both sides but I knew this team is tough and they are playing at home.


Wolfsburg vs. Leipzig - another difficult match to predict. VFL draw no bet at 2.9 looks good but I'm still skeptical. They're good when playing at home though.

I think that dortmund are back in top form especially after the big win against leipzig away and wolfsburg before that which is not an easy task and against a suffering team like mainz i do not think they will pass the oppurtunity of getting 3 points that would place them on the third position so i think they will win with at least 2 goals difference.

I have Dortmund -2 AHC at 1.98 odds

they looked pretty solid against Leipzig and Wolfsburg, seriosuly tho this team is a different beast with Haaland on the pitch. Mainz on the other hand are relegation material, they're just so bad. If Frankfurt had an easy game against Mainz last week, this could be a walk in the park for Dortmund

Wolfsburg vs. Leipzig - another difficult match to predict. VFL draw no bet at 2.9 looks good but I'm still skeptical. They're good when playing at home though.

IMO, Wolfsburg are a fluke and it's starting to show  (2W in the last 5 league games)...and they always struggle against teams in the top 7, they either lose or draw,, Leipzig double chance might be free money today, crappy odds tho lol

With the exception of Dortmund, the top five teams in the points table have not won their 15th match. And the top three teams, Bayern, Leipzig and Leverkusen, have lost their last match. Dortmund seems stable enough at the moment. If Dortmund wins today's match, they will move to second place in the points table
