I agree, not only the position where they finished the league but also the game they showed on the field is not promising for the future. I don't think Leipzig will even be in the top 4 unless big changes are made in the team next season. 

I was literally expecting them to have an easy winning in the match. But, it turned out Leipzig struggled to equalize the score. They almost lost the game, if not for Orban who scored a die minutes goal. Although, Bielefeld defense were very tight. Leipzig have to improve their squad with some talented players, otherwise, I don't think next season will be productive to them. However, Bielefeld couldn't make it out of the relegation zone, and were unfortunately relegated to Bundesliga 2.

If I think about the matches Hamburg played in the Bundesliga 2, I think Hertha will win and stay in the league. Schalke and Bremen are very lucky to be promoted to the league. This time, they will want to be in the middle of the league with good transfers. I hope they don't get relegated again next year.

I dont think that it will be an easy game for Hertha berlin against Hamburg , specialy when it comes to an relegation match.
I will not place a bet on this as i really cant say who will win this game between this to teams.
About Schalke and Werder Bremen they have to get a few good players to get into the middle of the league.

Lewandowski's only opponent this season was Haaland. But he was sidelined for several matches due to an injury in the middle of the season. Although he was with the squad after that, his performance was poor. I don't think Lewandowski will leave Bayern Munich at the moment. He is now 33 years old. Although he is a great player, his fitness is excellent. Yet it is doubtful whether he will be able to maintain his form if he joins the new league at the moment. But I will be happy if he takes on a new challenge. Barcelona could be the right place for him.

I think what you say is true, the Bundesliga is monotonous especially when compared to other leagues such as the English Premier League, the Spanish League which does provide an interesting spectacle compared to here. There is also like that. The relegation matches have been played since 2009 and since then only three times has the team from the 2nd Bundesliga won and been promoted.
I have already written it in the 2nd Bundesliga Thread. Actually, the team from the 2nd Bundesliga should win these games. They won most of the games in the season, have much more self-confidence and the team from the 1st division lost too many games. But despite from this the team from the 1. Bundesliga has usually made it so far.

No, that is not the case. The reason is that Freiburg and Leipzig are already qualified via the DFB Cup. Since both have an international place, place 7 in the table is automatically qualified for the Conference League Playoffs. This means that Köln will play in the playoffs for the Conference League.

If Frankfurt even wins the final of the Europa League they are qualified for the group stage of the Champions League. That means, 8 german teams would play internationally next season!

Yes, it's true, Lewandowski is the top scorer of all popular European leagues such as the EPL, Ligue 1, Serie A, La Liga. Robert Lewandowski's move from Bayern (I'm still confused whether this is an issue or not because a lot of media are still saying that he hasn't moved) imo is a big loss for Bayern, he's been the Bundesliga's top scorer in recent years. Bayern Munich played really poor football their last 10-12 match.Even last match they lost the point against Wolfsburg. Bayern Munich scored first 2 goal but wolfsburg came back Their game after 44" they also scored 2 goals and mach ended in draw 2-2.But Bayern Munich fans are expected that bayern Munich would win.Bayen Fans are very disappointed with Their  performance. I also agree that they deserve to be relegated because you cannot win  only three or five matches and expect not to get relegated. They need to prove themselves to play In the Bundesliga again. which I actually think they might not be able to do. the way they have performed in Bundesliga I am not going to be surprised if they continue this type of performance in the second Bundesliga also.

Yes, I was actually surprised to see how they have performed in the Champions League because I was expecting a lot better performance from them compared to what they have produced in the UEFA Champions League. A team like Bayern Munich has the capability of winning against top tier teams but they lost against Villarreal which is absolutely unacceptable and unbelievable. I still don't think that the prime time for them is behind them but I certainly think that the performance have deteriorated a little end they need to play better.

Bayern had a weak end of the season, especially after their loss against Villareal.
In the past Bayern was able to reinvent themselves after disappointing seasons. I am sure they have a good plan on how to achieve more success already. Maybe they won't be able to close to gap to the top teams in Europe right away next year, but they will attack again and are likely to be able to win the Champions League in the next 3-5 years again.

Bayern Munich are still the king of the Bundesliga in the end. But I also say that it wasn't one of the best seasons for them in general. I mean that they were solid in the Bundesliga but not in the Champions League. And they didn't even qualify for the DFB Pokal finale too. But the Champions League is the most important tournament for them in the end. They should have been able to eliminate Villarreal and play bigger. If you are talking about hopes for a good result in the Champions League, then I don’t remember when any team other than Bayern showed something good there. If you're talking about competing for the title in the Bundesliga then even more so  Unfortunately, the Bundesliga is not progressing, but rather lagging behind other top leagues.

I must also admit one thing about Leipzig that they were far worse in this season compared to the previous one. In the previous season, Leipzig even fought for the title for some time. Maybe they couldn't keep this fight going on until the final moments but they still finished the season at the second place in the standings at least. But in this season, they had a big problem on even qualifying for the Champions League. I also hope they get better next time.

Unfortunately, it is an illusion that Leipzig were in contention for the title (just like for example Napoli this season). The championship is not a sprint where you need to get around a competitor as quickly as possible - you need to correctly distribute your forces for the whole season. That is why we often see how some teams lead for a long time but then start to fall sharply down (Atalanta, Betis and other examples although they were not in the lead) - they just do not have enough energy to fight throughout the season.

Lewandowski ended up been the highest goal scorer in Bundesliga this season with 35 goals in 34 Bundesliga matches which he played. He performance are incredible, and despite he age, is quite surprising seeing him probably scoring sharp and smart goals. Although, I was expecting his team to win the Champions League title this season. However, he has so far won nine Bundesliga title in Bayern Munich, the club should be super proud of having a player like Lewandowski. I think he is one of the legends in the history of football.
