I also think that the race for the Bundesliga title this year is already over again and it is probably over for a few weeks now. I think that Dortmund did OK given the squad that they have. I mean in the end they are just buying young players from bigger clubs nowadays and if those players are doing well like haaland, sancho or bellingham they will be gone again next season. Dortmund needs to change that kind of strategy.
If Leipzig had had a better first half of the season, they could definitely have been a threat to Bayern.

Yeah, they really don't care at this point. Anyone even suggesting they might lose the title even if they were to lose every game left in the season's ignoring the fact that even at their worst, everyone including BVB has been wholly incapable of capitalising on slip ups. Bayern have to lose all their games left, and BVB win all their games left. Really, the way their form's been even with the Yellow Wall behind them, not happening.

This is not a point about Bayern but more about Dortmund. If they were capable of getting those crucial points during those times, then Dortmund could have been leading the league with ease right now. I am not saying that they should be winning every single game, that can't happen and we all know that but at the end of the day Dortmund lost just at the moments when it mattered and those games were quite important and shouldn't have been lost.

Completely agree. And there's really not much you can change about the club's DNA. Their last match was a concession that they would get 2nd place, a bit of a shame it didn't last down to the wire but you can only blame them and their reliance on you-know-who whom I can't see appearing for them again next season. 3 or 4 new faces, all 17 years and younger, so definitely in keeping with traditions, but you can't forever be the feeder club and want to aspire to win, I feel like Bayern were at their most vulnerable this season and BVB missed a great chance.

Bayern Munich's performance this season has not been satisfactory. And so teams like Dortmund and Leipzig had a good chance to fight for the title. But they could not. Dortmund were a very strong team this season. If the management would pay some attention to their defense and strengthen the defense. Then Dortmund might have continued to fight for the title. I agree with you here. The places in the table will not change. Bayern Munich will finish the season in first place and Dortmund in second.

I second that, and honestly i think the other teams in the German league needs to step it up and compete, they can't just continue to allow this monopoly, it is already getting boring, and sooner or later it will get worse. Take the Italian league for example, this past two seasons have been the most competitive/interesting in a long while, that's because the other teams found a way to compete and 'usurp' Juventus' dominance, last season they produced a different winner other than Juve, and this season Juve are not going to win it still.

People who watch the German League also deserve that sort of entertainment and competition, Dortmund have to do better, as well as the other top teams in the league, it is now more like even if Bayern are in their worst all through the season, they would still manage to be champions, i am pretty sure that is not something we all want to see, except of course if you are a Bayern fan.

tomorrow, the first semifinal of the dfb cup will take place. the bundesliga club sc freiburg will play away against the second league team hamburger sv and will try to enter the cup final first, which would be the biggest club success for the freiburg team.
of course freiburg is also the favorite tomorrow but in the cup everything is possible and we could already see some surprises...

Actually although it is hard for Hamburger SV but i personally expect they can beat Freiburg because they are the only team from Bundesliga 2 and it would be a great achievement if they could beat a team in the division above them but unfortunately they might be not too focus for this match because Hamburger SV still struggle to get better position on standings league because they have a target return to bundesliga 1 next season

Most likely, Bayer and Leipzig will also end the season without changing their positions in the standings.
