Wow! You could imagine RB Leipzig fighting over the top 4 on the league table, mean while from the last season, they were the threat to Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga until Bayern showed there dominance and further secured there stands.

This is the hope of most people in my opinion, Borussia Dortmund is expected to be more competitive again to put pressure on Bayern Munich so that they are not free in this Bundesliga. Even if it wasn't Borussia Dortmund who did it, I hope there are other teams who can do that. Indeed the lack of pressure on Bayern Munich makes the league boring as we don't get to see any stiff competition.

In the previous few seasons it was like this Dortmund played really well, it's true because otherwise it would be impossible for them to be in 2nd place but to fight for the title with Bayern can't mean they are not very good but Bayern are on a different level.

During these 10 years nothing could stop Bayern Munich and Dortmund were expected to be the team that could stop it, but in reality during these 10 years no team in the Bundesliga has been able to make the competition more competitive. It is difficult to overturn Bayern Munich's dominance, because even if the main players or star players leave, basically Bayern Munich still has players and also good management. That way Bayern Munich's consistency can be maintained throughout the season, but even so I personally still hope that there will be changes in the title race next season.

It is a strategy used by some clubs that guarantee for them a stable finance, some competitiveness and a participation in the European competitions with profit.
It is a strategic financial choice rather than targeting the first rank which as you said requires a lot of money and might end up with a Barcelona like situation.
Whenever they have many talents in one season they could lift the trophy otherwise they will wait for another opportunity..

I can't give a certain time period for when everything will be better, I mean it could be great or it could be horrible, I have no idea what will happen. But for the time being I could say that it's looking a lot better to be fair than just straight up fail in a few years.

Lewandowski is a bit older I agree with that, he could get older and not be as good as he has been in the past 2-3 seasons. But, he is reaching to 34-35 years, and that's when Benzema became his best self, look at Benzema at 35 years old this season. So, I do not think that they would be a worse team for at least another 3-4 seasons, considering they have younger players as well.
