While I do agree that Xabi and Leverusen trying one more time means that they have a chance, lets not give them a high chance just because they won it last year. We have seen many smaller teams do amazing for one season and then suck another season, so we could totally see them not do that well this year. I understand that it will hurt all of their stock value, but they may still end up not being that great.

Plus going almost undefeated for a whole season is tiresome, meaning that they will have a lot of players who are tired and will not be playing at the same level. The thing is, they could also win too, there is no reason why they shouldn't, they could end up winning the title there is no problem about that at all.

What I am guessing however is that we are going to probably see them have an issue with the situation, we just need to make sure that we bet the right way after we see how they are doing. I am not fan of betting on teams at the first weeks, I let the teams show themselves and how they look first before I start betting for real, I could make some small tiny bets that mean nothing just for fun, but I am not going to start betting for real amounts before I see how they look.

I love what Xabi Alonso is doing at the club,and since he started managing that team,they changed and play more of aggresive pattern of football,and I think that's the reason they get many goals and win games.Bayern Munich knows exactly that,that's why they are trying their best to keep the people that have come here.

Bayer Leverkusen has now became a great team under Alonso, he have increased the team’s level to a top team that almost every team will be afraid of playing against because of their outstanding performances in the last season’s Bundesliga campaign; they won the title without losing any match just as Arsenal did in the 2003/2004 season in the Premier League, as a result, their winning in the preseason is not more a surprise to me anymore.

I am eager to see how the team will play in the Champions League with the likes of Madrid, Manchester City, and others. If Alonso is able to win the Champions League, then he will definitely be the best coach next season and will surely leave Leverkusen for a better team like Bayern or Madrid.
