Unfortunately, Dortmund is still inconsistent in every match. Their performance is sometimes good, but sometimes quite unsatisfactory. In the DFB-Pokal, they lost to Leverkusen. Dortmund even faced Leverkusen in the Bundesliga before, but lost in the DFB-Pokal. Well, they'll see how they perform in the next match against SC Freiburg tomorrow.

By the way, the opening match is Union Berlin vs. Leipzig.
I was quite surprised that Berlin defeated Leipzig 3-1. So, if Dortmund wins, Leipzig will be replaced by Dortmund as the second-placed team.

I honestly felt a bit disappointed with the performance and result seen from leipzig,  although they are been hosted by Berlin but I see them to have had the better form and strength and so they are at advantage but in the games, they did not use any of their advantages , they would have even conceded lesser number of goals but it happens they were not only defeated but they conceded too many goals.

Tomorrow Bayern Munich wouldn't surprise us as usual. I'm just not sure about Dortmund. They have been unbeaten for a while but I still don't feel confident about them to win this.

Both games ending as a draw will be surprising. I have seen too many predictions going that way.

Lennart Karl the 17yrs old German player has a lot of similarities with Lionel Messi. He is slowly turning into the face of Bayern Munich. What are you saying mate ? Leipzig have been in good form before they came short and lost to Union Berlin which no one expected especially after scoring so many goals in their last bundesliga game before this one. As for Dortmund and Bayern Munich in the title race battle, I don't think that any team for now would stand to fight this particular Bayern Munich side that have been in so much form this season and with the way they have been playing well I won't be surprised if they can round up the entire season with an early victory declaration in the bundesliga.

I don't consider Leipzig a rival to Bayern Munich even though they are currently in second place in the Bundesliga standings, The points difference is significant and in terms of quality, I don't think Leipzig is as good as Bayern, and no other team can compete with them.

It seems you aren't following the Bundesliga very well this season because if did, you would have known that after Bayern Munich, Leipzig is the second most in form team in the Bundesliga this season. Leipzig losing to Union Berlin wasn't because they weren't in form because before they played against Union Berlin, they won their last match in the Bundesliga by six goals to nil against Eintracht Frankfurt. I believe the day Leipzig played against Union Berlin was a bad day for them, and that's the reason Union Berlin dismantled Leipzig easily.

Bayern have not dropped a point at home since the start of the season, they have won all seven of their home games in the Bundesliga. Their consistent performance demonstrates their dominance over their opponents, especially after they previously defeated Stuttgart 5-0 and Sporting CP 3-1, both teams much stronger than Mainz. The significant gap in quality is clearly visible between the two, Bayern Munich is certainly still on track to achieve a big win over Mainz. Leverkusen ended their two-match losing streak with a victory against Cologne.
Leverkusen created many scoring opportunities but only managed to convert two, ultimately winning the match 2-0.
Terrier's goal was spectacular. He scored with a scorpion kick, and it might be the best goal of December.
Cologne, on the other hand, was very ineffective. I can't recall any particularly memorable scoring opportunities. They haven't won in five matches. If they continue like this, they will be relegation candidates. Although they are currently far from the relegation zone, things are not going well for Cologne.

Your first prediction was correct, Leverkusen beat Köln, and on paper there was no real difficulty for Leverkusen to secure an easy win.

As for Dortmund, logically they should also be able to win, even if they have to work a bit harder to break down Freiburg’s defense. Looking at how consistent Dortmund’s attacking line has been, they still have the edge. From the last 5 matches overall, Dortmund have only suffered one defeat, which came against Leverkusen in the DFB competition. That loss is understandable since Leverkusen’s form has been outstanding and clearly on a different level compared to Freiburg.

So I’m predicting a 1–2 away win for Dortmund.

Dortmund is an unpredictable team, unfortunately, their streaks of success or failure mean nothing. This is a recurring theme from season to season, as they abruptly swing from consistently gaining points to consistently losing them. I've long since crossed them out of my cash bets and wouldn't risk it here either: on paper, everything looks great and it seems like Dortmund should win, but even the odds are too suspicious - +119% for a more or less "reliable" outcome seems too generous.

But Leverkusen did not disappoint us. They performed brilliantly and secured a 2-0 victory. Their performance was very organized. But  in the next match, Leverkusen is going to face leipzig. It is very difficult for them to earn points in this match. Even Leverkusen is likely to lose.

Dortmund will play against freiburg. Although Dortmund did not play well in the champions league match, the possibility of them losing points in this match is very low. Freiburg's performance is irregular. More importantly, dortmund has won all the last 7 matches  against freiburg. And Dortmund has won most of the matches by a large  margin. The Bayern Munich vs Sassuolo match has become quite competitive. Now Munich is leading 2-1. Even though they are leading by only 1 goal, Munich will definitely win today.

Sassuolo took the lead in just 13 minutes with Ismael Kone's goal. And the first half ended 1-1. Munich was able to equalize with Bartesaghi's goal. Only 2 minutes into the second half, Bayern Munich confirmed the lead with Bartesaghi's second goal. In the second half, Sassuolo players are not able to create many attacking opportunities. They only had 3 shots. On the other hand, Munich's boys are trying to increase the gap in the match. My guess is that the match will end 3-1 or 4-1. The most likely outcome is 3-1.
