The first game this week is going to be Mainz - Leverkusen. And Leverkusen have been one of the most impressive teams surely. Their great effort helped them climb to the third place again. And they are going to be the closer side to win here also. But Mainz are not going to be easy to defeat. They are one of the strong middle-placed teams in the league now. And I'm sure that they will do their best to annoy Leverkusen and steal at least one point from them. So the result will be depending on Leverkusen's performance.

We have had lots of surprises lately in different leagues I will just pick both teams to score.  Leverkusen is 6 points away from Mainz so predicting in favour of  Leverkusen will be too risky rather I will simply pick the two teams to score which I am certain the two teams will be able to get atleast 1 goal each though i'm not predicting a draw

Haaland's goal statistics this season are quite good, even though he has only scored 16 goals for Dortmund and is almost 10 goals adrift of the top scorer while Lewandoski has already collected 26 goals. Haaland's injury in the middle of the season kept him out for quite a while for Dortmund but he was able to come back and perform quite well after returning from injury, it might be very difficult for Haaland to become the Bundesliga's top scorer this season considering the goal difference with Lewandoski is quite far.

This can be said as a transition for Haaland because indeed when he was injured there were definitely some declines that would indeed occur and he would not immediately play as well as before because this is definitely going to happen.

I believe that if Haaland could go to a huge team, like City for example, that is where he will shine for sure, he will actually make a difference and get UCL with them and be loved by everyone.

I don't think Haaland is worried about not being in contention for the golden boot this season. It seems that he has already solved his tasks of moving to another club and the most important thing in terms of statistics for him will begin there. Their difference is quite far, so it is certain that Bayern are the favorites in this match. Especially with the last 2 matches that were beyond the expectations of most people, of course they would change their strategy in order to re-establish the players' confidence.

Haaland plays for Dortmund, Lewandowski for Bayern. Now it would be awesome to let them switch roles for next season and compare the statistics again. Lewandowski to Dortmund, Haaland to Bayern.

I would wager all of my money that Haaland will do better than Lewa in that case. However, the main thing that kept Haaland away was injuries and the games missing. Lewa had 22 games whereas Haaland had only 14 games, that is 8 game difference.

Even on average if he scored 8 more goals, he would have 24 goals instead of 16, that is only 2 goals behind Lewa, with 1.26 or so average, that means 8 more games would equal to 10 more and he would be equal to Lewa in that case. I am not saying that these will be the scores, he could have scored 30 or he could have scored 20, we do not know because he missed those games. At the end of the day this is what I meant by consistency.

Because Dortmund's performance don't even make me hopeful for them to win the title. They are too unstable. For example, their unbelievably enormous loss against Leverkusen was a big disappointment. I know that Bayern Munich do the same time sometimes too but they don't make this kind of mistakes very often. And those are chances for Dortmund to catch up with them actually. But I have no hope in that way from now on.

Since, Mainz will be hosting the game, they will try their best in resisting Leverkusen which will surely make the match interesting to watch. But, Leverkusen seems the favorite. However, Bayern lost some points in their last match, and won't allow that to repeat itself this week.

Leverkusen's next match will be against Mainz 05 which is ranked 9th in the standings. I see Mainz 05 is not doing well right now. I predict Leverkusen will win by a thin score in this match.
