Bayern Munich's game might be boring but Bayern Munich by themselves can make it really delightful if they score many goals. Furth are the worst team when it comes to conceding goals. They have conceded 57 goals in this season until this point. And they are the last-placed team also. I see zero chance for them here. They should be grateful even if they don't lose by a huge goal gap. Bayern Munich really need a huge win to boost their morale a great deal. And there is no hindrance for them as long as they don't undervalue their opponent.

this is an opportunity for Bayern Munich to end some of the bad results they have had in the last few games including the 1-1 draw against RB Salzburg and also a 4-2 loss to Bochum in the Bundesliga match, while the opponent they will face is Furth this could become an outlet for Lewandowski and friends to score as many goals as possible after the poor results they have had in the last 2 matches in the domestic competition and the European Champions League, where they are currently only 6 points adrift of Borussia Dortmund in second place with 22 matches. what they have done in the Bundesliga this season

Haaland plays for Dortmund, Lewandowski for Bayern. Now it would be awesome to let them switch roles for next season and compare the statistics again. Lewandowski to Dortmund, Haaland to Bayern.

Well, this would be very interesting indeed. But things like this only happen in a perfect world  It would already be pretty meaningful if they both would play the same amount of games

Meanwhile Bayern showed nerves again Salzburg yesterday. Luckily for them their next game is against Greuther Fürth, ranked last in the league. Bayern should be able to score an easy win against them and get their motivation up again.

I know what you mean but I doubt that a team like Greuther Fürth can help them get their motivation back up. They are lucky to go home with a 1 - 1. I think a 0 - 1 would have been much tougher to start with. Things can spiral up negatively when Salzburg would have scored a lucky one in the second leg. I think Munich will make it in the end.

Well, playing for Bayern makes it MUCH easier to score. Even Mario Gomez was able to score 30 goals a season when he played for Bayern Munich... Comparing an offender from Dortmund with an offender from Bayern still is a bit unfair. But as you said, Haaland could probably even compete with Lewandowski when they had the same number of games. I provided the numbers though and Haaland's scorer point average per game is superior.

Mainz currently plays against Bayern Leverkusen and is now 0-1. It is almost half time, Leverkusen have a better team, but Mainz still has every chance to equalize. Leverkusen is in third place and has a number two in his sights. This win is crucial if this match is in at least. Then the deficit is only 2 points and that is easy to make up for. I don't know who I had to go against., But they have already been hit hard in the Champions League. That can work for a long time on a team

Mainz vs Leverkusen first half is over and as I expected they can take the lead and at least try to secure the 3 points.
Leverkusen's game was quite good in my opinion in terms of possession and Mainz's fault was that they were too focused on the midfield which made the defense a bit neglected.
If things like this continue then I think Leverkusen will score again in the 2nd half later

Mainz - Bayer

Today Mainz hosts Bayer, I don't know what motivation the teams have for this match. I'm not sure that Mainz will be able to compete for the European Cup zone, but Bayer will not get anything more than the Champions League zone this season. Bayer is in good shape and scores a lot of goals, I think Bayer's individual total over 2 can be considered as an option.

I think if someone told anyone of the Bayer players and officials before the season that they would reach a position in the Bundesliga that would qualify for a place in the UEFA Champions League next year then i am pretty sure that they would have all been very happy with that. Bayern Munich is by far the strongest team in the League and if no major upsets are happening then they will be the champion again this year and after Bayern the strongest teams, at least on paper, are Dortmund and Leipzig. At the moment Leverkusen is only 2 points behind Dortmund and 10 points in front of Leipzig (Leverkusen is in front against Mainz at the moment) so i would guess that they are pretty happy overall.

Bayern Munich and Dortmund did not play well in their international matches. Bayern only managed a draw against Salzburg and Dortmund even lost at home against Glasgow Rangers. With these conditions, the pressure on the teams to win their games at the weekend is even greater.

Should an unsatisfactory result in the Champions League and Europa League matches will not affect Dortmund and Bayern Munchen performance much in the league and they must stay focused on winning the match.
I believe Dortmund and Bayern Munchen can win the league match this weekend because the opponents they will face are weak teams who are currently still struggling to stay away from the relegation zone. Of course this is very good considering that these two top teams need a win after poor results in the European zone in the previous match. I don't think there is much pressure to win the game and I think both teams will win easily this weekend.

Yes, I agree. The matches really should be easy for both the teams to win. Not the most competitive match of the league to be honest for either of the teams in my opinion. But I really want to see  Bayern Munich lose some matches in the league because I want the league to be a little more competitive. We are well into the 2nd half and it's 1-1 now. The game is now completely open. Odds are 3.7/1.9/3.7. Mainz did score a 2nd goal, but it wasn't counted. It is a result where both teams can't be too unhappy, but of course both want the win. Maybe we'll see one lucky game deciding goal.

Leverkusen need a win to approach Dortmund in 2nd place in the standings. Now the difference in points between them is 5 points adrift, Dortmund with 46 points and Leverkusen with 41 points.
Leverkusen's next match will be against Mainz 05 which is ranked 9th in the standings. I see Mainz 05 is not doing well right now. I predict Leverkusen will win by a thin score in this match.

Leverkusen needs points here for sure but that doesn't make them closer neither, it just makes them do better for this week and not getting the point difference bigger. Dortmund will be playing gladbach and I feel like they will end up with something that is not really unexpected there, it should be easy win for Dortmund this week too. So that means that we are going to end up with both Leverkusen and Dortmund winning this week if nothing unexpected happens. It is bundesliga so anything could happen here.

It is one of those weeks where we could have Bayern, Leverkusen, Leipzig and Dortmund all win this week. I am not saying it will happen, because that is not common but it is not rare neither happened just 3 weeks ago, and could happen this week as well.

The matches really should be easy for both the teams to win. Not the most competitive match of the league to be honest for either of the teams in my opinion. But I really want to see  Bayern Munich lose some matches in the league because I want the league to be a little more competitive. I know that it might not happen but it would be interesting if it does.

Without any doubt very poor from these both German giants in European competitions but still have fair chance for going through in next round because we can expect good fight back specially from Dortmund but in this round of Bundesliga most chances both teams are going to face teams with very poor record in this season and most chances both are going to win their matches as Bayern is going to face bottom side Greuther Fürth and Dortmund is going to face Mönchengladbach which is also struggling at 13th spot but still we have few matches those can change table in good and interesting way because currently three giants are in good position for grabbing top spots with fourth is wide open for many teams those are improving performance and trying their best for better end of season.

If Leverkusen had dominated the match and attacked without playing defensively from the start of the match, they could have scored a full 3 points from this match. Mainz is one of the strongest defensive teams in the league. Leverkusen made a mistake and they were defeated.
If Leverkusen could have scored 3 points from this match, they would have been only 2 points behind Dortmund. And they had a good chance of getting second place on the table. They missed the opportunity. Leverkusen are unlikely to move to second place in the table if Dortmund do not lose badly.

Mainz has been able to perform well this season because their defense is very good. They have conceded just 26 goals this season. Interestingly, the fourth to eighth-placed teams in the points table are at the table with the same points.

Actually, this competition is not fair, to be honest. Because Bayern Munich has the best players in the league and probably in the world in their team, and Dortmund also has some really good talent too.

But almost every other team just sucks to be blunt. I don't think that any other team in the league is anywhere near Bayern Munich or Dortmund.
The main competitor of this League are the two teams and most of the time Bayern Munich is the winner because they have a better squad.

Mainz were by far better on today came i was really shocjed when they took the advantage in both halfs since mainz dominated both of them and they had more goal chances than leverkusen in the end it was a deserved win its typical from leverkusen their performance vary from game to game.

Lots of people lost bets in this match. I didn't bet on this match though. However, I guess the match will be drawn 2-2. However, their main mistake in today's match was to reduce the attack. Leverkusen have scored 14 goals in the last three games, and if they had been attacking as they have been in previous matches, they could have scored more than 4 goals today and won the match.
Schick is playing great this season. He is able to score consistently. If a talented player and regular scorer like Schick had another player on the Leverkusen team, the Leverkusen team would be irresistible.
