I wonder what Dortmund need to do to fight for the league title very seriously.

We see already what they are doing right now as this time they spended and spend a lot of money to get new good players.
They have now already bought 3 to 4 players and it looks like that want a few more .
This shows that they seriously want to fight in the coming season for the title and with Bayern Munich.

I have heard about Niklas Süle transfer for example which is a really good one to strengthen their defense line. Dortmund's biggest problem has always been related to their defending. They need better defenders to take the first step to create a solution for this problem. Except Süle, I see that they have brought Schlotterbeck from Freiburg too. I don't know about him much but I hope he is at least as good as Süle about defending. But I think their biggest signing so far is Karim Adeyemi. He is a very promising centre-forward who is 20 years old.

Dortmund did buy some players at this time but I don't think it could cover the departure of some of their important players last season including haalaand, actually their chance to compete for the championship trophy is when they still have some great players like sancho and haalaand, but when they already have a squad qualified to compete but one by one their players leave and there is no desire from dortmund to keep them, I think next season will not be a different season from the previous season for dortmund, they will only remain a club that continues behind bayern munchen.

The match schedule for the 2022/23 season has now been published. It starts on 5th August with the match between Bayern Munich and Eintracht Frankfurt.
Both promoted teams play away first. Schalke against Cologne and Bremen against Wolfsburg. In Berlin there will be a city derby on the first matchday. Union Berlin against Hertha Berlin.

Karim Adeyemi is a very talented and promising player. He is only 20 years old. He has scored 19 goals in 29 matches in his league. He has scored 4 goals in the last season even on the platform like the champions. With an experienced squad like Dortmund, Karim Adeyemi's performance maybe even better.

Yep, reportedly Madrid have approached the club about this player but maybe now the price that can be said to be expensive can be one of the problems for Madrid now.
But this player is really good. I think he plays very well in attack and also in defense because if I look at his performances last season he was always active and working to secure in defense and always in attack when attacking. at his age he is another promising young player.

For his age he is for sure a very good player and he has done a few forward steps in playing in Dortmund and his playing style fits there 100% .
I really hope to see him playing in Dortmund a few more years and there was some rumors that he should and can get into the position like Marco Reus is now.
Also i guess there is a nice good build around him now with the new players that was coming to Dortmund.

But the problem is that sometimes Dortmund will not see this potential as long as the profits from selling players are very large so indeed they will not hesitate to sell them even though there will be tug-of-war as part of the plan.
Dortmund always benefit from sales like this and indeed for the performance and hope I also hope he can still be at Dortmund but this comes back to the agreement whether the expensive price will be accepted or not by Madrid.

Even though Adeyemi is a player that definitely has the potential to become a great player it is not really sure for me yet if he can really help Borussia Dortmund in the coming season already. In the last games with the german national team Adeyemi did only play 5 minutes because Hansi Flick was not happy with Adeyemis performances in the training. I hope this was just an exception and Adeyemi did not become cocky already just because he plays for Dortmund now.
Even when all the new players of Dortmund are working well, i still see them a good margin behind Bayern Munich to be honest. For me Leipzig has the biggest potential to give Bayern a hard time.

They always dominate Bundesliga, other teams need to get a lot better for them to even get close to Bayern. It is not just about one or two players, you can remove Gnabry and Lewandowski together in a single season, and I would still give the championship odds to Bayern over anyone else, of course would make it harder, but I would still give it to them.

This means Bayern will have another easy season, hence why they are not really rushing into making any big transfers for many seasons as well, they get some players they like, usually for cheap, and move on without a problem. Nothing that makes them "we need to get better!" in the league right now.

Dortmund would have been a team that will give tough time to Bayern Munich,but they have a problem,and their problem is selling quality player that would have been helpful for the team.Dortmund is not a club known for winning tittles,they are a club for business,they prefer selling their best players every year and make money out of them,than signing players that will improve the team more.And this reason alone is what has made the Bundesliga league boring,because the only team that would have given Bayern much headache is Dortmund,but Instead of the Dortmund to improve,they  retrogres.

For national team indeed Adeyemi had lack of play even when Germany has successfully became the champion of Euro cup U-21 he only played 3 times but maybe the indicator why Dortmund interested to bought him because his statistics during play for Salzburg was very impressive even for season to season his performance showed good progress however in my view why Dortmund pick this player because he is potential player and for next several years possibly he will became an new star for Dortmund and for business purposes probably Dortmund will sell him with expensive price such as their previous players

I don't doubt Bayern in the opening match which very often gets big wins and also in terms of the composition of the squad they have it's very reasonable.

Sadio Mane has reportedly agreed to join Bayern Munich next season. But for Lewandowski there has been no recent news regarding him whether he is still staying at Bayern Munich or actually leaving. If Lewandowski still survives it looks like it will be a better collaboration than Mane and Lewandowski in attack.
