Today I think a draw is certainly an option.

Dortmund have signed Sébastien Haller as Haaland's replacement. He is a very promising player. I think he will be a worthy replacement for Haaland.

I actually think the opposite, dortmund will not draw against hoffeinheim this time, as the host dortmund will win. the ball possession of both teams looks balanced but the dortmund striker and also the dortmund defense is stronger than hoffeinheim. currently the score is 1-0 and most likely this will last until the first half is over and in the second half (my prediction) there will be another goal created from dortmund.

Dortmund's control of the ball is far above Hoffenheim, this has the potential for Dortmund to add to their advantage again. Until the first half end, Hoffenheim did not see to be able to equalize the score because Dortmund were still free to attack the opponent's defense. Hoffenheim need to change their strategy in the second half if they want to end the match with a draw, but I think it's a bit difficult.

@KTC: I booked Union early at those odds last week. It's actually 75/10 now! Of course, Bayern should take this easy, agree it's great value for a regular big moneyline.

I wouldn't underestimate Union Berlin at this stage of the season. Yes it is still very young, but what is the probability usually that Union against Bayern is the most interesting game on a weekend? I don't Bayern to dominate the game easily. Union will try everything within their power to make life hard and it would actually make the overall situation in the Bundesliga much more interesting.

Bayern are not invincible. Even Bochum could shock them last season on a day when every shot on target also is a goal. Hopefully it is going to be a close battle.

Hoffenheim has won three out of four matches this season. Their performance is quite good. An impressive 3-0 win against a strong side like Leverkusen. Hoffenheim's performance in the last three matches has been very good. So it doesn't look like Dortmund will win easily. The match will certainly be competitive.

Dortmund has won 3 of the last 5 matches between Hoffenheim and Dortmund. And Hoffenheim won just one match. However, in these 5 matches, Hoffenheim scored 10 goals and Dortmund scored 9. I am waiting to see many goals in today's match as well.

Hoffenheim are even better than Frankfurt who surprisingly won the Europa League title last season. Winning 3 of 4 match so far in a row is something good for them but I think it is difficult to continue that winning trend if Dortmund are today's opponents. Dortmund are playing at home, so they will be favorites to win in my opinion.

To be honest Frankfurt wasn't that good in the league last year neither, while winning against teams like Barcelona, they ended up losing in the league during the same periods. So, it would be unwise to think that they would do amazing in the league this year suddenly. Maybe they won Europa last year but that is not a good reason to think that they would be great in the league.

First of all, it would be smarter to imagine them being good in the league DURING the season they won Europa, secondly it would be not really that weird if they were bad in Bundesliga last year (not really bad but not at the top) so they could repeat that again this year too.

The match has now entered the second half, the score is still with dortmund 1-0 advantage, dortmund are still trying to add to the score but so far their efforts have failed and are often stopped by the Hoffenheim defense, the score 1-0 in my opinion is not safe enough for dortmund lock victory and dortmund should be even harder to increase the score and keep the focus of their current game, I hope dortmund can play better and also stay focused so as not to repeat the mistakes they made when they were defeated by Bremen in the previous match, victory dortmund had to crumble when they not wary of a comeback from bremen in the closing minutes of the game.

The match is over now and Dortmund managed to achieve yet another pretty lucky win. I watched big parts of the game and i have to say that again a draw would have also been completely possible and maybe even the most fair result for this match, but Dortmund managed again to win a game where they were not the better team. The win for Dortmund is definitely Ok though to as they were more dominant than Hoffenheim.
Overall i still have to say though that the performances from Borussia Dortmund in every Bundesliga game so far have not been impressive and i think if they are not able to improve their game then they will not have a chance against teams like Leipzig or Gladbach and obviously also no chance at all against Bayern.

Actually I expected more goals in this match but it's a shame that only 1 goal was created from the many opportunities created for Dormund.
But in this case it was better than expected because at the beginning I was inclined to draw in this match. now just waiting for Bayern and Union Berlin because usually when Bayern lost or drew in the previous match last season they always won by a striking score afterwards. will it be the same now or will this be an even worse outcome for them.

M Reus 16th minute goal was enough for Borussia Dortmund to seal this victory and go at the top of league table for one day now in fifth round they are having 12 points from 5 games a shocking defeat against Werder Bremen preventing them from their perfect record for this season's early rounds but still they are doing good job in absence of their main player Haler who is not available for long time due to illness, but we can expect good results from them in this season.

Today they have not allowed Hoffenheim to have any tough challenge for them and play with tight defence which is good for them Borussia Dortmund needs to work on attacking as they need to do some more goals 1 - 0 is not enough for them for staying at top.

Tomorrow we have one of the best match as Union Berlin is going to host Bayern Munich.

You are so brave, Dortmund and Hoffenheim are good, both have the same statistics and points, maybe a draw is possible, or a bit surprised if the host lost. When I look, Dortmund Only wins on 1 different goal and lost in the back previous match, while Hoffenheim is quite classy won 3 matches in a row and have a big winning versus Leverkusen. So, I have a different choice, draw or Hoffenheim win.

Regardless of anything in this Dormund played very well.
Their 5 midfielders performed quite well I think in this match although there were still some mistakes made such as miss communication and passing errors but their midfielders continued to run to attack and help defence.

1-0 is a good score for Borussia Dortmund. They got three points with clean sheet. Especially when they have no striker besides Modeste these points are golden. It was same like last week, Modeste saved last week and now Reus saved Dortmund. Julian Brandt's assist was perfect. I don't expect them to go 1-0 always, they should find more alternatives to score. When Haller come back everything will be alright but right now they are looking for temporary solutions.
Hoffenheim was a though opponent and even a draw would be okay for Dortmund but they managed to get the win. Terzić made substitutions late this time. Fortunately, they were able to finish without conceding a goal. Otherwise, Terzić would be responsible for point loss.

Hoffenheim really tried in today's match as they were able to maintain a lone goal defeated from Dortmund. The tow teams played each other as the match end up with 50/50 ball possession Dortmund were lucky to secure an early goal to seal their 3 points campaign as they are now at the top of Bundesliga table with 15 points before Bayern and Union Berlin match tomorrow, which I know it will be a very hard match because both the two teams are in form.

Dortmund were very lucky to score their only goal early time of the game, after  then Dortmund couldn't realise more goals. If not that Dortmund were lucky to score their  first, the match would have ended goalless,  I think the game was not easy for Dortmund', before the match began I knew the game would be difficult for Dortmund that may have ended with a draw but it was fortunate Dortmund won with 1 goal to have points .

They won with the minimum of difference they performed really well  in the second half, they managed to score early which made the game easier for them, i think its to soon to judge if they can cause troubles for bayern since they already  lost a home game and in order for them to play for the title such wasted points should no be tolerated.
