Leverkusen's first league game with Xabi Alonso is going to be against Schalke in two days. We will see if he will start making a difference for Leverkusen already by this game. Schalke are another team in poor condition now. These teams have really similar statistics in the standings as well. However Leverkusen has a much more qualified squad than them. They only need to make use of this advantage and they can get the win comfortably. I hope that they will have a good start with their new manager by winning this game.

Of course, Xabi Alonso will try to prove his capability in the game against Schalke but I guess he has not gotten much familiarity with the players so we shouldn't expect him to bring an instant change completely to the team. Again I think Leverkusen is in bad shape but the team won't find it difficult to defeat Schalke because they are not having a good season likewise and this will be another advantage to Xabi if he makes his right selection very well I believe the first game will be a win for him and the fans will be glad to see Leverkusen return to winning ways.

We are used to seeing this team at the top of the points table. But this season Leverkusen's performance is very poor. Leverkusen lost the first three matches. Although it still managed to win the match, they were unable to continue the winning streak. Out of 8 matches they lost 5 matches and drew 2 matches. Their defense is very weak. If Leverkusen's defenders don't play well against Schalke, I don't see any chance of them winning. Leverkusen's win or loss will depend on the performance of their defenders.

Not only there defense is very weak , also at the moment there strikers are too , they dont score as they normal should be.
Leverkusens win will be depending on the performance of the Strikers like Schick , if they have a good day playing well they will win this game.
Maybe we will also see some changes in the team against Schalke.

I don't even think he can do that just only in a single match. Xabi needs to see the best composition. He must watch several match to make sure that if he will able take the advantage from leverkusen's player. In my opinion if this will become a very difficult thing caused by xabi needs to identify any players in the club through the real match. It needs time. Im sure he was under pressure but that's his choice to manage leverkusen.

I looked at the history of the meeting between the two and found that from the 28 meetings between the two so far, Bremen won 12 and drew 10, even so, this season we see that Hoffenheim is playing well and managed to be in 5th place in the standings. so a draw is a final score that is likely to happen.

I guess and think we will see a few changes maybe but not to much as the team is not really so big different from the last season to the current one.
If they dont win against Schalke then i dont know whats wrong with Leverkusen , but i expect a win for them on the coming weekend.
And they playing at home so i guess thats also a advantage for Leverkusen , but they should not underestimate Schalke.

There might have a slight impact but I guess we will not even notice it, if the problem is not on the coach it is sometimes on the players so they need to cut some of the players that are not listening or not making progress at all, but apparently, some teams need a desperate change in coach as well but the case of Bayern Munich a change in the strategy because they don't have Robert Lewandowski on the team, a change of strategy that revolves around Lewandowski is really needed, but in the case of Leverkusen I really don't know, and I don't know if Xabi Alonso can change that, but let's just wait.

Maybe without the presence of Kimmich and Muller will be enough to affect Bayern's performance in the match later, but it seems Nagelsmann has a way to anticipate this problem. as we saw in the champions league match when Bayern were without Muller and Kimmich, but Nagelsmann was able to maximize his squad, even though Viktoria was not a balanced opponent.

Oh, my God, this clowning begins again. If the problem is only in the "positive" test and the health of the players is no different from the usual, then why skip the game?
It's time for the management of Bavaria to resolve the issue with the tests - so that when necessary they are always negative. If a player is not feeling well, then obviously it makes no sense to put him in the squad, but if he feels good and only the result of the test interferes with him, then it is obvious to me what to do.

I am still not sure if the signing of Xabi Alonso was a good move or not. It is always a doubled edged sword in my opinion if you hire such an absolutely world class player that has won basically every trophy that exist both with the club and with the national team, as your coach. Xabi Alonso seems like a pretty smart and charismatic person though and i think that he should be able to reach his players and to motivate them.
I just hope that he has a good start because that is the most important think. A few good matches and positive results at the beginning will boost the confidence of every player. Bayer Leverkusen has a good squad and they should be able to fight for a Champions League spot.

I think it's an exaggeration to say Bayern Munich fans won't appreciate them anymore if they lose against Borussia Doertmund later. because in a match the team will not always win how strong the team is, so the fans will not overdo it when they lose. Disappointment is something that is bound to happen, but everyone will understand that in football, there are winners and losers. Except they (Bayern Munich) are very bad, and should be relegated. After all, they can still be said to be fine, because even in the standings there is no gap that is too far.
