I was deceived by the bookies odds,I immediately placed a bet on Bayern to win at 1.95 which is a relatively high odd for Bayern in the Bundesliga and I lost my bet,initially I wanted to place both teams to score but the odd of 1.45 simply was not worth it for me.

Bayern though got what they wanted in the end,to not lose and maintain the distance gap between them and Leipzig but they let 2 points against Freiburg which if they can win in this weekend game they can come really close to Bayern to keep the pressure up,this time the Bundesliga is good enough with a Bayern not being able to put a gap like they usually do.

I'm not sure that Leipzig will win this match, but at least I think the match will end in a draw.

@rahmad2nd while Bayern is definitely the favourites to win, but there’s an interesting change i.e. the new signing Sommer will instantly be making his debut and I believe that Leipzig player’s could feel tempted to try their luck since he may be jittery playing in such an important match on his debut. Also Bayern do have other injuries which could boost Leipzig confidence, but in my personal opinion Bayern should yet win it and I sincerely doubt that we’ll see a boring draw being played as both team’s would be keen to seal those 3 valuable point’s.

Well, what do you think. This match is exactly what I predicted. although Bayern excelled in possession in the first half, plus, the goal scored by Choupo-Moting in the 37th minute. however, what is certain is that Bayern did not show their best performance. Bayern had the only shot on target in the first half and was converted well by Choupo-Moting which made it the lead for Bayern.

Even in the second half, Bayern didn't have many chances, there were 5 total shots on target, one of which was on target, one was off target, 3 were blocked shots. even Leipzig had more good chances in the second half, they had several shots on target one of which was converted into a goal by Marcel Halstenberg in the 52nd minute.
As a result, this match ended in a draw as I predicted. I was lucky enough, and won the bet for this fight.

But in the second half Leipzig even found more goal opportunities than them. I can't say that Bayern Munich had the game under control much in that half either.

Leipzig just took advantage of this situation. I assume they are happy with the result as Bayern Munich were the absolute favourite in this game to win.

it was a game in which bayern did not manage to score many goals and from what i could watch the opponent showed that he has the power to chase first place i think that if bayern makes a mistake in the next games something like a draw with any team in the next games then they will risk losing first place, one thing is clear to me: this season there is no 100% guarantee that bayern will manage to win the bundesliga

bayern's attack is being inefficient, with the absence of mane they clearly need to sign players urgently so that their attack is very effective or they could also risk losing in the champions league game and in the bundesliga games

It's great that Leipzig could hold Bayern Munich to a draw and also, Leipzig excels in statistics, especially regarding shots on goal and also goal attempts. At least you still get profit even though the odds on BTTS are not as attractive as if you bet on Bayern Munich on the Money Line, BTTS around 1.4 and on Bayern to win around @1.9, and the odds comparison proves that bookmakers see Bayern's chances are not as big as both teams scoring goals. But Munich's position remains safe at the top.

Leipzig played even better in the second half. It can be said that if lepzig has become even more active attacking bayern despite low ball possessions acquired by leipzig and leipzig is still able making more shots in total compared with bayern.
That match is having high tension but im feeling disappointed to see that the match end with draw as the result. Draw is more than enough for leipzig to consider the worst head to head owned by leipzig against bayern.

leipzig played perfectly, while bayern seemed to have lost their game pattern, even bayern was only able to make 2 'shots on goal', with this draw, freiburg was very profitable, and had a great chance to get closer to bayern because of the difference in points between freiburg and  bavaria is getting thinner.

Yes I agree with you but I was expecting Leipzig to win at home against Bayern because they had better chances to score and managed to only score one goal,Bayern Munich lost two points in the game they ought to be happy with the scoreline because the team is currently without some players which also affected it's performance even the first choice goalkeeper which is also injured I believe the is the best opportunity for Freiburg to close the gap between them and Bayern Munich by winning their next match against Wolfsburg which will reduce the gap to two point before facing Frankfurt which will equal their points with Bayern should they win and Bayern Munich fail to win against FC Cologne.

Bayern Munich is known for winning competition,  I doubt Leipzig will be something too difficult for Bayern Munich.  For sure Leipzig is doing well currently in this season but that won't make them to take the position of Bayern Munich. Leipzig is consistent in performance,  if Bayern Munich are to be having problems with their performance it would have been a chance for Leipzig to make an opportunity from the weakness of Bayern Munich but Munich are still very good in performance.

Leipzig are now third in the standings and just six points behind Bayern Munich. Therefore, this match is very important for Leipzig and they will take every opportunity to win this match. It is important for Leipzig but this game is also very important for Bayern Munich in general. The thing is I do not think Bayern Munich is going to lose against RB Leipzig. Even though RB Leipzig is in great form right now, I do not think there will be able to beat Bayern Munich. What do you think of Sommer's performance?  I generally like his performance.  I don't think there will be a problem in the goalkeeper position for Bayern Munich for 3-4 years.  They still need a young and quality goalkeeper.  It would be bad news for Bayern if Sommer were to be injured.  It was a pity for Leipzig that they could not get 3 points in the match, it was a sadder game for Bayern as they lost 2 points.  Freiburg will be the most profitable team if they win their match.

Yeah, leipzig is lucky enough to get draw against bayern while it has the worst history against bayern. 1 point is enough for leipzig but I think that we shall not forget that if leipzig was playing at home against bayern. Bayern must be doing so well. I think that bayern will be able to defeat leipzig in the future once leipzig will be playing at bayern's home. That's gonna be the real test for leipzig against bayern. The draw between bayern against leipzig has been giving a chance for freiburg to be even closer to bayern. Fraiburg will be facing woflsburg which can't be considered as an easy opponent as well.
