Another big defeat for Schalke04, which didn't stand a chance at Frankfurt. I see it very gloomy for this team, which has made a lot of effort to be able to promote. So you see that the difference between the 1st league and the 2nd league is huge in Germany. Striking at the moment is the score of Colgone - Werder Bremen where it is no less than 6-1 and we have just arrived at the 60th minute. Now things are surely interesting with this result we have three teams on 30 points gapes are also now five points from leaders and in next round we have Freiburg going to host Frankfurt which could be also not easy game for them with the current form of the Frankfurt which is now at the second spot and can stay here with their performance and quality at right now.

The Bundesliga is a very interesting league.  When Bayern Munich lost points, Freiburg, who had to fight with all their presence on the field, was defeated 6-0 by conceding 6 goals from Wolfsburg.  There is a magic in this league and it is as if it was made for Bayern Munich to always be champions.  In another match played now, Cologne managed to score 6 goals in 65 minutes.  It is certain that Cologne will beat Werder Bremen.  Let's see if they can score another goal in the remaining minutes.

Well i would not so far and say that Bayern was lucky yesterday to get a draw. For me we saw two completely different halfs of the match yesterday. In  the first half Bayern was the better Team for me. They did not have a lot of good chances there, but they controlled the game and at that point it was totally deserved that bayern went in front with 1-0. In the second half though Leipzig scored a very early goal which changed the game completely. They even had a higher ball possession there than Bayern, which does not happen very often.

I don't see Bayern Munich as usual, they seem to be missing something like at the start of the season. Their attack was not as effective as before, whether it was their own fault or it was Leipzig who managed to silence Bayern Munich's strategy. Obviously this is very profitable for Freiburg because it has a very big opportunity to cut their points from Bayern Munich. If they win then the difference in points becomes 2.

Bayern Munich is surely missing something in this season after losing Robert Lewandowski with now their main goalkeeper is also injured and out of the game for the rest of season mean things are not positive for them, and they can suffer with these issues Sadio Mané is also out of the game with injury, and they are having no quality back up which is the problem, and they have to solve this all if they want to keep at the top because with current form they can suffer, and now we have few teams are performing better, and they are also increasing their quality for the big challenges this can be helpful for the league as well because with this all we can expect entertainment and interesting end of this league which is important.

Sometimes football is not  just about who are on the top of table to decide the winning but club currently form and also how good the club prepare with tactics against each other.i have seen some cases like this before in different leagues, so it is not knew thing in football but it has to surprise us because we never believe such will happen in today's match due to form  many of us think Freiburg was.from what I see in today's match Freiburg I didn't play as well because even their shot on goals was just one compared with Wolfsburg that won the the match  with 6-0 and have eleven shot on goals.

I believe it was tactics that Wolfsburg use to defeat Freiburg because even their ball possession was just like same.and even from their head to head record  I found that Wolfsburg to keep their home crazy with Freiburg always.

This is a humiliating defeat for a big team like SC Freiburg. Even if they will concede this number of goals it shouldn't be without a reply from the visiting team. They lost without a single consolation goal. The first big defeat SC Freiburg faced was against Bayern and this happen to be the biggest with 6 goals away loss.

Wolvsburg played very well in this match regardless of their game they were very disciplined and dominated. Freiburg on the other hand don't know why they lost touch in this first game.
This is clearly quite an embarrassing defeat for Freiburg, maybe even this is the biggest defeat they have received this season.
On the other hand, this was another surprise in my opinion after Leipzig drew against Bayern.

Leipzig and Bayern Munich had a quite balanced game in fact. Leipzig also found many goal opportunities. Both sides could have won this game but neither was able to do so. Muller wasted a big chance in the last minutes. He could have been the hero of the day for his team. I would have liked to watch Nkunku in this game but unfortunately he was still injured. This game was a big proof of Leipzig's needing him a lot for having more comfortable games. In his presence maybe they could have been even more competitive in this.

By the way I was also shocked by the result of the Wolfsburg - Freiburg game. I should have understood from the odds as Wolfsburg were quite favoured for the win. But none of us could have imagined this big of a loss I guess. The Bundesliga is full of surprises.

Bayern Munich is one of the best teams in the Bundesliga. They are progressing well, the coach of the team is making great plans with the players. Bayern Munich are expected to do well in the Bundesliga.

 

the truth is that even when bayern does not play well, is inconsistent or then has bad results for a while, the other teams in the bundesliga become weaker, which means that bayern does not need to make an effort to become champions because the other teams are weak that not even if bayern gets bad results they will be champions, of course this is a sad scenario but there is an explanation:

when these teams have good players they start to win games but then they sell the players and start to lose a lot in each game, they are teams that profit a lot from selling players which makes them no longer care about winning the bundesliga

The matches in the Bundesliga after a long break seemed to have a very surprising ending for some of the matches, and the final result that just happened was for the match between FC Koln v Werder Bremen. In fact, Werder Bremen's position in the Bundesliga standings is above FC Koln but who would have thought, FC Koln could score five goals in the first half until finally FC Koln won with a score of 7-1.

Meanwhile, if we look at their head to head results, at least Werder Bremen isn't a weak team either, but in today's match Werder Bremen seemed to be playing very badly. Maybe Werder Bremen underestimated FC Koln so they didn't have a good preparation against FC Koln and in the end, Werder Bremen lost with a big score by a team whose quality FC Koln is not a big team.

Something else made me laugh: having lost points in the game with Leipzig, Bayern, instead of falling back into a position of shaky leadership, on the contrary, strengthened it and broke away from second place by another point

Leipzig getting a point from this game did helped them out a lot but it also helped Freiburg a lot as well. If they could win that would make the difference just 2 points and I am guessing that it's going to be a very good job for sure. I am expecting them to be doing something that is a bit more on the helpful side to their roster during this transfer window but seems like nothing big is going on.

If Bayern keeps losing points like this, we could maybe finally see them not win the season and that would be very wild. We are so used to seeing them as the champions that either freiburg or leipzig winning it would be beyond what we expected out of this season and everyone would be shocked.

29 goals in 7 games is already good. but that wolfsburg wins against freiburg with 6:0 and bremen loses with 1:7 in köln is really crazy.
i didn't expect such a start on matchday 16. but of course it's great for the fans to see so many goals. especially for the Wolfsburg and Cologne fans.
schalke have to be careful that they don't end up in the 2.bundesliga again next season. the next games against leipzig and Cologne have to bring a few points.
otherwise it will quickly be 10 points to the 15th place.
tomorrow dortmund will probably win against augsburg. the other game, Mönchengladbach against Leverkusen, could result in a draw.

I was actually very surprised to see this match. I did not think anything like this was going to happen. Freiburg lost the match against Wolfsburg. And that also lost a very big margin 6- 0 is something that we do not see every day.

I also agree with @Dickiy that Freiburg was supposed to be a competitor for the title in Bundesliga. But they lost against Wolfsburg by this big margin. I mean you can have a bad day but this type of bad day is very rare.

However, I don't want to take any credit away from Wolfsburg. They have played very well in this match. They outplayed their opponent in every aspect. And of course, when the score is 6- 0 The team has obviously played well. From start to finish this match was under the control of Wolfsburg.

It was hard to understand how Freiburg lost by a huge score like 6-0 against Wolfsburg. No matter it was a home or away game Freiburg should have been able to play competitively. Football is full of surprises that any thing can happen,  Leipzig is not a weak team, if Bayern Munich was not able to win the match it is because Leipzig is tough.  It would have been worse if Leipzig had won the game against Bayer Munich but it is good it ended in draws.
