Wolfsburg have close their chance for qualifying on Europe League next season behind 7 points left from Freiburg but has mission winning this game secure their position for UEFA Conference League qualifying under Bayern Leverkusen pressure with the same points right now. SC Freiburg on underperformance after two loss in a row from Union Berlin and Leipzig.

I think that both Union Berlin and SC Freiburg are great clubs that are very likeable and that have managed to play a very successful season even though they don't have the financial possibilities that many other Bundesliga clubs have that are ranking behind them at the moment. Still i don't think it is perfect for the Bundesliga as a whole if Union Berlin or Freiburg will be playing in the Champions League because usually such small clubs are usually not able to play such a good season two times in a row and it is also very much possible, that those clubs are losing their best players to bigger clubs after this season. So it is very much possible, that they will have a hard time in the CL next season.
One of those teams will play in the CL though that is already certain.

What makes them interesting is the condition of their players who are balanced on almost all fronts in terms of quality so by continuing to be a dark horse and a team that is quite troublesome for the big teams in the Bundesliga, of course that is a very good thing to watch.
Now actually Freiburg's chance to be in the Champions League is over but they can still survive in the Europa League again.

The gap between Freiburg and Union Berlin is only 3 points now and this competition for the Champions League will be so much fun to watch. I think Union Berlin have technically showed who the boss is now. Because they beat Freiburg by 4-2 in their most recent match. After losing to Leipzig this was another loss in big matches for Freiburg. They are just having a similar season to the previous one. Because they are throwing their chances while we are so close to the end.

It really deserves to be appreciated for Union Berlin's struggles this season and they really deserve it if next season they can appear in the champions league. Let's assume that Thoman Tuchel has not had the privilege to lead Bayern for a whole season, he should still be given the benefit of the doubt.
