I was really disappointed at Borussia Dortmund as they played wretchedly against a Mainz side that has lost 4 games in their previous games, in the game they were expected to win and were losing 2-1 but, for eight minutes, the trophy was in their hands. Bayern Munich we’re just lucky. Bayern Munich knew they needed to beat Cologne and hope for a favour from Mainz, and it did happen. Zero mentality. They’ll never be champions again so long as they have a poor mentality like this. Mainz is a mid table team and you’re at home. It’s not rocket science.

This season is a great chance for Dortmund as Bayern Munich are in transition after a departure of Lewandowski and some players are old enough. Dortmund lost the title in the last match and they will have to wait many seasons to get that opportunity. Bayern Munich are richer than Dortmund and if in this season, Dortmund failed to beat Bayern, they will have less chance in a next season.

Bayern Munich will buy some players to come back with a stronger squad that is not good for Dortmund chance. Their mentality is not good at the final day of Bundesliga and Bayern Munich luckily to have Musiala who scored a very late winning goal for them. That goal brings a title to Bayern Munich but Dortmund should complete their match better than only a disappointed draw.

Bayern Munich inconsistency was not caused by Tuchel,  they brought in Tuchel at the wrong time. Tuchel even tried is best to win the league in a short time as coach.  All thus change of coach won't really help Bayern Munich, it will be better if they should work tuchel for sometime.

Tuchel came in a time where Bayern Munich consistency was questionable but not that altered. His mission was to prevent disasters but he failed so far from staying in Champions League and to stay safe in Bundesliga. Bayern Munich were lucky they win the title this season.. What should be said is that Tuchel didn't have the time to make the team more solid and coherent. He didn't have the chance to bring new players too.

He didn't fully contribute to Munich because Tuchel just joined in March to Munich so it takes time to make Munich better, even though it failed in the UCL but at least Tuchel might be happy with Munich winning the league with a goal difference from Dortmund, if Tuchel has to leave Munich again of course it will take more time to make Munich solid because it takes time to make a club great.

I think Munich must be consistent with their manager so that they can give time for the coaching manager to be able to make all Munich players solid. It's not easy to make a great club in a short time. There are many examples of great clubs in other leagues like that.

I was really rooting for Dortmund and I still feel that they deserved the title. The table does not lie though - and this example shows why we all love football.

Dortmund had 14 wins in 16 home games before this week, Mainz had 4 losses in a row with 3-13 goal difference.
Doesn't mean much though when everything in a game goes the other way.

Funnily enough - Mainz gave Dortmund the chance for the title when they won 3-1 against Bayern a month ago. A great way to finish the championship for the neutrals, but hell for the team waiting for the title since Klopp.

What you just saw was a demonstration of the power of fate, not luck. Are you turning a blind eye to the number of matches that each club played to get to the final?

Not to talk of the ups and downs that could be plainly seen on both the sides of Bayern and Dortmund. The sides were switching the top post for some time during the match and as time goes on towards the end Bayern was displaced from the 1st place and Dortmund took over, and now again Dortmund lost and Bayern took over and won the cup. Until the last seconds of the game, I was thinking Dortmund is going to win the Bundesliga title and after years of getting failed they are going to win the league but even at the moment when they were really close to winning the trophy, Bayern Munich was not in a good situation, but once again Bayern Munich won the Bundesliga title but this time because of Dortmund mistakes.

Yes I am also and the recent display by Borussia Dortmund against Mainz undoubtedly infuriated the crowd. Even though Mainz may have been considered an underdog due to their recent defeat. An opponent momentum can drastically change during a game as it did for Dortmund during those key eight minutes. Bayern Munich accomplishments cannot be entirely credited to luck. They were aware of the significance of defeating Cologne while also hoping for a successful result versus Mainz. In a sport that take into account a variety of elements beyond a team psychological state the concept of a poor mentality can be arbitrary and convoluted. Any squad has the ability to succeed with the correct tactics and tenacity.

unlucky in the last 11 seasons I don't think there is a logical reason,Dortmund played at home, in front of their loyal supporters and faced opponents from mid-table teams who are still below their quality but Dortmund failed to win, I can hardly believe it will this fact.
The Bundesliga is still unattractive this season, if a league is still dominated by just one team it means the league is not competitive, I really regret what happened to Dortmund this season.

As a non-Borussia Dortmund fan, I must say that I am unhappy with their performances, Dortmund had some poor away games where they performed just as well or poorly as Bayern. In my estimation, the only team that consistently performed well was Union Berlin One thing to learn from them is they that can compete at the top without a huge budget. They have enjoyed the Bundesliga and equally shown improvement year after year and perhaps in one or two years, they could even reach the very top and now they are close to qualifying for the Champions League.

It certainly hurts Dortmund, but they have tried their best. But the last game things were not in their favor. The points were equal but the goal difference made them fail. I feel sorry for all the players, especially Reus. He's a good player loyal to Dortmun, but for almost 10 years he never had a Bundesliga title. He always failed, it seems like he got a curse not to win during his time with Dortmund. He still has a one-season contract with Dortmund. There is still a chance but it seems difficult, Real Madrid and Barcelona will improve the team for next season.

First they made mistakes in the first half and got two conceded goals. Second, they wasted opportunities in the second half and threw the title away to Bayern Munich. In latest matches of Bundesliga, Haller had excellent scoring form but in the last match, his streak stopped and Dortmund lost the title.

It is not a personal responsible from only Haller but the whole team of Dortmund have to be responsible for it. They got the crown and lost it by themselves and regret that in a season when Bayern Munich are weaker than usual, Dortmund still failed to beat Bayern.

In this season, Bayern won the title because they are the best club amongst many clubs with many problems. They are not stronger or better than Dortmund but they took the title over from Dortmund in very last minute of the season.

Jasmal Musiala has confidence of a potential star player in future. In very last minutes, he decided to make that shot but not make a pass to his team mates, and it shows his potentiality to become a new super star player, a future of Bayern.

I'm sure most people, especially Dortmund fans, would never expect this to happen to Dortmund. Just one step away from being able to win the Bundesliga title but they have wasted the opportunity. 'Similar but not the same' maybe this term is worth pinning on Dortmund this season because its fate is almost similar to Arsenal in the Premier League which is 16 points ahead of Manchester City in the standings, but in the end, it was Manchester City who managed to become champions. Arsenal's fate is exactly the same as Dortmund's this season, the difference is the more ironic chronology and events in the Dortmund camp. As a result of a small error in his last game against Mainz that has ruined everything. I think Bayern Munich are like lucky this season.

The atmosphere at the Signal Iduna Park stadium looks very yellow and the fans are very sure that their favorite team will win the bundesliga this season. But the victory that was waiting for was like a storm that was difficult to beat and Dortmund failed to fulfill the last task to win the bundesliga trophy.

Surely there will be a lot of disappointment, sadness, tears accompanying incessantly around the stadium and actually Dortmund doesn't want the match to end in a draw against Mainz. Dortmund players and fans have to be mature about this, they have to be mature with unpredictable results.

It looks like this season is the season of Dortmund's biggest regrets. How not to regret, because Dortmund has a very big chance to win the Bundesliga title this season because on paper Dortmund is also better than Mainz. Plus, Dortmund is also playing at home which, of course, is the best factor for Dortmund to be able to beat Mainz and celebrate their home win and win the title this season. But what happened was that Dortmund failed, and it also looks like Dortmund didn't have the luck factor in that game, it's really very unfortunate.
