Having more depth on the striker positions brings its own set of problems to the table. Usually no very good striker would want to sign a contract with a team that has signed Harry Kane. What is the chance of that player to play on a regular basis and there are rarely high level strikers who are fine with sitting on the bench. I think this is not really a problem that Bayern has because they can compensate for a missing striker for a couple of games.
