It was very close and at least Bayern Munich still won at home with a score of 3-2. I doubted that Bayern Munich would win with a large goal difference against Augsburg and the result was as we saw. Many goals were scored but unfortunately both teams' defenses were also equally bad at handling attacks. Here Bayern Munich conceded two goals and actually that is not good for a team that is still fighting to win another Bundesliga title this season.

But Bayern Munich were at least two goals ahead in the first half through Pavlovic and Davies and that was enough to make them confident they could win. The goal came from their mainstay striker, Harry Kane, who returned in this match and contributed to the team's victory. Augsburg briefly shortened Bayern Munich's lead with a goal in the injury time but it was not enough to prevent Bayern Munich from winning. Next time, I hope Bayern Munich wins again by a landslide and that they become more comfortable in maintaining their victory.

Actually, I doubted if the Bayern Munich team will have find it this easy to defeat Augsburg on their home soil, after seeing them had an unimpressive performance in their last two games, But it was surprising to see them already winning with 0-2 just at the end of first half game, With this two goals gotten by Bayern Munich side, the victory is already theirs, and it will be difficult for Augsburg to turn the table around and come back to beat the Bayern team in this match.

Even after leading with a with two goals in the first half, Bayern Munich was not assured of a swift victory in the end, although they were able to beat team with one goal lead. Ausburg added one more goal in the extra minutes to make it 2-3. Maybe an extra minute would have given them more time to score goals. Bayern Munich are really not going to take it lightly with any team now after falling from the first position in the standing of the Bundesliga league. They need to keep up with this performance if they want to stand a chance to contend for the league title against Bayern Leverkusen.

The two results are quite contradictory and Bayern Munich will certainly be happy to hear the news that Leverkusen gets a draw. Bayern Munich seems to have a reason to rise and the distance is now increasingly being reduced. Leverkusen hasn't lost yet, but if they get draws frequently, it will also be worse for them in defending their top spot from Bayern Munich. I think this draw should not be repeated again and Leverkusen must be able to perform more optimally considering that the end of the season is getting tougher. Leverkusen team is 2  points ahead of Bayern Munich  if they do not win this match. However,  if they win this match, Leverkusen  could be ahead of Munich by a safe margin  of 4 points. Now, if Leverkusen drops  one more point, the team is likely to  lose the top spot in the table.

To be honest, I was surprised by the result of this match. I never thought they were incapable of winning the game against Mönchengladbach. It was beyond my expectations. This result puts them in a difficult position because after 1 more match the next match will be against Munich. This draw puts pressure on Leverkusen because they must win the match against Munich to maintain their position in first place. If Leverkusen won last night at least they wouldn't be so under pressure when they compete against Munich later.

Leverkusen this season have been zealous to winning the German league trophy and most definitely, there's a high chance of them winning. They've not had much of a rough time so far this season too unlike Munich who have a couple of times slacked too. They  could miss out on the league title cause Leverkusen doesn't look like a team that's giving up soon, unlike Dortmund last season.

I was not surprised to see the game end in a draw, because I know what B. Monchengladbach is capable of doing, especially when they play against a strong team. So I knew it was not going to be an easy match for Leverkusen to win the game against Monchengladbach, but many people were saying that Bayer Leverkusen would find the game so easy to win because of their current form. In many past seasons, Bayern Munich has always found it hard to defeat B. Monchengladbach anyhow. Now that Bayern Munich has won today and Bayer Leverkusen has drawn today, the points gap between Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen is getting closer. Bayern Munich is now catching up, as they won the game today and Leverkusen drew. Let's see what happens in their next games, but any of them will draw or lose.
