This season it seems like they learned a lot from last season's experience where they last season had a slumped appearance and even they were lucky enough that they could survive in the highest caste of Germain football. Mainz are at place 17 in the table and they have not won one game from the last 11. That was probably too much for the responsible board and so they have now sacked the coach Jan Siewert. That was also a pretty short time for him as coach in Mainz. Only 3 months. Leverkusen came as a complete surprise, one that I don't think they showed any indication of last season for this season which as we all know is a very surprising season. I don't know what Xabi Alonso's formula is, but certainly Leverkusen have undergone a very significant change since the arrival of this coach. Mainz has the lowest number of wins so far in this season. And as you have said about the performance I hope they will be able to improve. But I do not see any sign of improvement from them so far. I guess it will take time. They have been through a lot in recent times. But I don't think there is any point talking about that because if they cannot stay out of the relegation zone, it will not matter how many coaches they have changed. What will matter is that they will be relegated. And they definitely do not want that to happen. They have some tough matches coming up. They will be looking to get at least one point from those.
