It is a big day in the Bundesliga.    Because this evening Leverkusen are hosting Bayern Munich at BayArena. As I must have said before this is like the most important game on the road going to the league title. For both sides I mean. Leverkusen are in a really advantageous situation considering their placement in the standings now.

Winning this game will make them even improve their advantage a lot by making the gap 5 points. Both teams will target a win here and I hope Leverkusen not to mess things up here. I want to see at least the same performance they showed at Allianz Arena before. Even that would be enough not to lose here.

Both placement and form so far, between them Bayern Leverkusen as we all know are better, take a look at the squad of Bayern Munich and that's not the squad as dangerous as we know them before not even the bench looks dangerous. I honestly doubt them chances of winning the Bundesliga League Competition and also the Champions League with Thomas Tuchel.
Like what'd Eric Dier doing at the heart of that defense? A serious bench warmer for Tottenham Hotspur. Still can't wrap my head around it and what Thomas Tuchel would achieve with this!

Bayern Leverkusen knows what's at stake. They're my most important and favorites to win the League Competition in Bundesliga at the end of the season.

Bayern Munich team is very strong. But with Leverkusen's players performing so well this season, I see no chance of underestimating this team. This team is very strong and is undefeated so far.

Leverkusen managed to draw 2-2 in the away match against Bayern Munich. And Leverkusen beat Munich 2-1 in the last home match. For these reasons, Munich cannot underestimate the Leverkusen team. Both the teams will definitely try to win and grab the top spot in the table. So the match will be very competitive. We are likely to see many goals in this match.

So far with how far the game has gone, it tells me that Bayern Munich are not strong, how come you have these players on the bench, what are they doing? Thomas Muller and also Joshua Kimmich! Aren't these players with better experience of games like this? Thomas Tuchel shouldn't be making practicals or experimenting during big games like this.

I think Leipzig has been uncertain lately and the 2-2 draw against Augsburg was certainly very disappointing. Not only fans but also bettors will also be very disadvantaged by the result of this draw even though they might not be able to win against Augsburg. The reason for the away game also doesn't seem to make sense if Leipzig can't win because they are the most favored team.

Even though Leipzig's position is not really threatened because they are 5 points away from the team below them, namely Frankfurt, I doubt they can survive much longer if the results are still less than optimal like this. They also failed to get close to Dortmund in the top 4 competition and this draw left Leipzig with a 3 point difference from Dortmund. I hope that Leipzig can strengthen its defense line and not make it easier for its opponents to break through, especially since the opponent is a weak team.

So far there really hasn't been any change and Leverkusen are still leading the match where the score has changed to 3 - 0 for Leverkusen's advantage and Bayern Munich really can't do anything there, the match has entered the extra time phase and I think all hope has begun to disappear for the Bayern Munich camp in a very short time situation before the match ends. Today Bayern Munich are really far from lucky, and this is a match that most Bundesliga fans are looking forward to and  now we can see who is stronger on the pitch between the two teams who are indeed in a tight competition this season in the top area of the standings. Yeah this match is over and Leverkusen defeated Bayern Munich, I see this situation is almost the same as the match in Laliga because both teams are equally 5 points ahead. Now Leverkusen is increasingly confident to win the title this season for defeating their strongest competitors and Leverkusen still maintains an unbeaten record this season. I'm not sure Bayern were good in this game. What did they have besides possession of the ball? Statistics show that Bayer won from a position of strength and there could have been no other outcome:

I can imagine the shock that Bayern fans, the club's management and Tuchel are feeling right now - they were expecting a return to first place, but instead they now have a catastrophic 5-point gap. Dortmund looking good, they did get close to third place again, they are at UCL levels already and there is a potential that they could finish third. In a year Leverkusen did this well, it's clear that we are going to end up with something that must be profitable for them one way or another.

I don't know if people make this joke a lot but we used to use 'bayer neverkusen' phrase in the old times. But they are finally over this curse and on the way to success. Another interesting thing is that Harry Kane arrived to Bayern and Bayern started to get quite bad. I have admitted that Bayern Leverkusen can be the champions of the Bundesliga title this season.
I was thinking that Bayern Munich will defeat them in this match, but the score line and how the game was played proved that Leverkusen is ready for the Bundesliga title this season.

They are now five points clear on top of the Bundesliga table ahead of Bayern Munich and 15 points ahead of Dortmund and Stuttgart. I am very impressed with Leverkusen performance, they remain the best team in the top European Leagues with they outstanding performance, they are the only team that is yet to lose any match this season.

Bayern Leverkusen have proven that they are very ready for the league title and not even Bayern Munich the defending champions can stop them from making it happen. They really played well today and deserved the win against Bayern Munich today. This was just a game to decide who continues to remain in the first position for now. Five point gaps is a good margin but with the many matches left for play before the end of the league, they need to remain consistent in their winning streak, if possible win the rest of their matches till then they can confidently say they will be the winner of the Bundesliga title this season. Bayern Munich should be shocked with this defeat but that’s football for us.
