They have had this problem a dozen of times this season. They can play until they come close to the opponent's box and then out of a sudden they are out of ideas. I think the main reason for this issue is that they had Haaland for two seasons and then when a player of his category is gone, the team realizes how big of a gap he left behind. So Kane fate will be cursed if he manages to become top scorer at the end of the season but his team fails to defend the trophy. Last week, when Leverkusen tied with Monchengladbach, I thought they wouldn't play easy against Darmstadt today. So, when Leverkusen won, it was what I thought might happen. That's correct for the most part, but I am sure that during negotiations these clubs are aware of the offers that a player has from somewhere else. In essence, yes if a club pays X millions for a player, then that player is worth X millions. But Bayern knew that Kane is worth that much because there were other clubs involved that also tried to convince him with a high salary and to convince Tottenham with a similar transfer fee.
