After 5 league games, Eintracht Frankfurt are second in the German Bundesliga table with just one point behind league leaders Bayern Munich. The truth is that not many of us would've predicted such outcome at the start of the season. I'm beginning to wonder if Frankfurt will be able to maintain their current momentum and results or if they'll soon be sent back to the mid table. Do you think they'll be the dark horse in the Bundesliga this season or are you of the opinion that they don't have what it takes to finish in the top four of the league table? I'll want to know your thoughts

I was surprised at the score line by Frankfurt today, how they went from 3 goals down to winning by 4 goals is something I really couldn't phantom because I was only expecting a draw at most considering they were already loosing with such gol difference already, getting to the second position a d having Bayern Munich at the first is a very good one, it shows they have hopes of making it to top four by the end of the season, but my concern still bothers within Leverkusen, I just hope they will be able to come up to defend their title by the end of the season or in worse case a decent finish around the top four positions wouldn't be a bad idea for them.

Frankfurt losing only 1 of their 5 games at the start of the season is certainly a positive, but I'm not entirely sure they can maintain that consistency. In terms of advantages, Frankfurt do not have the schedule of Bayern Munich, Leverkusen, Leipziq, and Dortmund in the Champions League. So if they really want to stick to Bayern Munich, they must be able to take advantage of the situation. In the Bundesliga trip Frankfurt will soon face Bayern Munich and Leverkusen in a row, it must be very difficult considering the 2 clubs they will face are not wanting to know what defeat is.

I was rather surprised seeing Frankfurt conceding goals from Holstein Kiel. Holstein Kiel fought for almost seven years just to get out of relegation and return to first Bundesliga. I really didn't expect much from them this first season playing in Bundesliga. I actually expected the come back from Frankfurt and they did it. Frankfurt is supposely competing for the league and not expected to lose games against team like Holstein Kiel. On the other hand, Holstein Kiel is improving day by day despite being the last on the table but I don't think they'll be able to maintain their stay in the league if nothing change. I believe they're still learning but they shouldn't relax. If they survive this season, they will definitely add up to their squad depth.

Bayern has been tested today and they show how strong that they are because they took possession of the ball all through the match. It was juat that they didn't create a good chance of scoring the second goal in order for them to win Leverkusen.

Leverkusen is not an easy side as Xabi Alonso is a good coach who saw how Bayern was out playing his men in the first half, he had to immediately change his game formation from 3-5-2 to 4-4-2 after the first half break in order to lessen the pressure that Bayern was mounting on his players. It was a goalless second half and the game ended in a 1-1 draw.

Bayern Munich ball dominance isn't enough to win the championship this season, I thought they could do more by scoring a lot of goals against Leverkusen this season, considering how they've dominated their opponents this season and the Leverkusen has not been in the top form as last season. However, the Bundesliga will be a stronger competition this season than we expected, because Bayern was unable to defeat Leverkusen in their first meeting at home, I will not consider them the title winner at this time because the season has only started.  Xabi Alonso is an experienced manager who changed his formation because Bayern Munich put a lot of pressure on his players, and if he hadn't used his experience, they would have lost the entire points due to the way Bayern attacked them in the second half.

This season the bundesliga is getting really intriguing and it will be more intensed when Bayern Munich will be ahead by over 5-10 points then it will be clear they are dominating the title race but for Leverkusen the former champions, we hope they are able to still compete hard enough this season because a with the pressure at which Bayern Munich is going, maybe Leverkusen may not have a privilege anywhere around them if they further broaden the gap by 5-10 points, they may just have to settle for a spot around top four, kompany is making Bayern Munich proud and giving them hope of getting back their dominance and they continue on the winning ways this season.

Yes, it's going to be interesting because there are teams like Bayern and Leverkusen and Liverpool and in this era it will be known who is the best and who is not.  Bayern Munich will brace themselves because they know the position they are in. All the teams in the Bundesliga have only played five games this season and the top five teams in the standings have also had a very close and even almost the same number of points as Leverkusen and Dortmund. So all of them have to be really consistent in every important game if they still want to be in a better position throughout this season and Leverkusen will definitely try to win more this season in order to continue to compete with their rivals and also with the Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.

Yes, it was something very unfortunate for Hoffenheim, and of course many would not have thought that in the end they would lose after previously creating many advantages through several goal differences, I think it seems that Hoffenheim was too confident that they would be able to get full points when they had created three goals in the first half so maybe they continued the game without being too serious which in the end caused a disaster.

Both Leverkusen and Dortmund have suffered one defeat in the 5 matches they have played in the Bundesliga, even some of the matches they have played have been quite tough. It seems that it is not a simple matter to achieve stability in the game, let alone to be truly consistent, let's look at the data and statistics of both teams that some obstacles must be evaluated and fixed by both Nuri Sahin or Xabi Alonso. Dortmund winning yesterday sounds like a good weekend start off for the Bundesliga this season which i will say should be considered a morale boost for other big teams in the Bundesliga to wanting to win their games too so they can be able to see their selves at the top of the table and probably maintain their good positions already especially for the game between Leverkusen and Bayern Munich later today. other fixtures for today appears quit interesting which one wouldn't want to miss as they have been between big teams and aswell equally average teams amongst themselves, this is one of such weekends i will consider a super weekend in the German Bundesliga Leipzig is another team i have some expectations from considering the inconsistency in their performance since  this season hoping they are goin to do better starting from todays game.

Dortmund's victory yesterday really shows that Dortmund is a big team. For a team to equalize after being two goals down and then win the game later, it takes a big team to do that. And it's not even all big teams, but those that have a very good attacking line. When Bochum scored the two goals, I was thinking that Dortmund would also score and eventually win. But when Bochum added the second goal, I never thought Dortmund would be able to win the match. All I was thinking yesterday was that even if Dortmund were lucky, they might only get a draw. But to my surprise, they later won the game 4-2. I was really happy because I had bet on them to win, and at first, I thought my bet was ruined. But in the end, I won!

Leipzig's performance has really improved compared to their form last season. Leipzig have not lost any game, despite playing against strong and average teams like Leverkusen. I believe that Leipzig are here in the Bundesliga to fight for the trophy, and if they maintain their good performance, anything can still happen, even though Bayern Munich is currently topping the table.

^^ It was actually a good performance from the ex-UCL runners-up. It was especially a good comeback because they were able to win the match after being behind 2-0 in the first 20 minutes. Guirassy performs really well., he scored a brace. This wind has helped them to stay at the top four of the table so far. If somehow Dortmund had ended up losing the match, the point difference between them and Bayern Munich would have been a lot. So Nuri Şahin's men definitely did a good job of making sure that the situation did not get out of hand already.

The performance from Leipzig was obviously good. I think that was mainly because they were going up against a team that was relatively weaker compared to them. Augsburg has finished towards the middle of the table in the last season. And in this match, not much was expected from them against Leipzig.
