Dortmund collected the three points and was able to recover from the draw in just few minutes to take the lead again. These are the main positive points.
The negative points were the reduced margin between a top team and a novice one at Dortmund's home..
In fact Dortmund failed many times to add goals in this match. That point should be fixed because in front of a top team, they might miss points..

Although they won the match but if you think about it Dortmund was not good, like they did when playing at home the winning goal in the 83rd minute was clearly a difficulty they experienced with 7 shots on target and 9 shots off target, in my opinion Dortmund has not been able to rise but in this match St Pauli was also not good so St Pauli should have been able to take advantage of a good counterattack but failed to win this match. But in my opinion in this match Dortmund still has a lot to improve to be able to compete at the top they are not good in defense and also currently not stable in attack with the increasingly difficult work in the Champions League and the tight league schedule I think they have to find a solution soon.

While I agree Dortmund beating a 16th place terrible St.Pauli team was the expected result, there are always some doubts about every game, like people worry if something crazy could happen or not. For example, St.Pauli only has one win all season long so far, and that game was against Freiburg, and Freiburg is only 1 game behind Dortmund with 1 point behind, so St.Pauli did beat a team that actually were as good as Dortmund is, and we could have seen some unexpected results.

And the game was 2-1 as well last night, with a goal coming at 83rd minute, so the game was closer than people realize, not like Dortmund dominated or anything. On paper Dortmund looked like they were dominating, but they were barely winning the game.

He was booed for not winning the match again Bayern Leverkusen and also label as a coach that has not really got a tough opponent to see his lapses, but now he has proving them wrong again and I think this is something wondrous and should be celebrated for this big victory and a big margin win. It should be like that but by looking at the course of the match they were actually a little troubled by St. Pauli's defense which was indeed very good in today's match.

In terms of dominance, opportunities owned as well as from possession of the ball Dortmund were in control in today's match but it cannot be denied that St. Pauli also implemented a very good defensive scheme even if you see what they did in the crucial minute with a quick counterattack that was carried out ending with Eric Smith's cannon kick it was a little surprising for me fortunately in the end Dortmund could still take control and get 3 points in today's match.

In statistical terms, both ball possession and chances were more on the side of Dortmund. But credit must be given to the defensive line of St. Pauli. It was very disciplined, managing to keep off attacks from Dortmund for long spells.

Not only that, St. Pauli proved that they could provide threats through quick counterattacks especially when Eric Smith almost made a surprise with his hard kick in crucial minutes. This moment proved that even though most of the time they were on the back foot under pressure, St. Pauli is still dangerous when given the opportunity to attack.

Fortunately, they still had the game under control and bagged 3 points. This game just proved how, even with much domination from one side, solid defense from the opponent can pose its own nature of challenges. St. Pauli might just have discovered that for big teams, organized defense plus swift counterattacks could turn into powerful weapons. Which is pretty interesting.

Alexander Blessin's men know that when they play against a club that is bigger than them in terms of level and strength of players then it will be very difficult for them to play openly against the onslaught so the defensive scheme is a very appropriate choice to do because after all even though the hope is a point but they also cannot force to keep up with Dortmund's game and the only way is to survive and try to make a breakthrough in the counterattack scheme that is done and actually this St. Pauli has done a good job but their focus must be lost at the end when the situation is favorable for them when there is a return goal but Dortmund also does not make it. The first half was actually a match worth highlighting because although Bayern's dominance was quite good but there were still some things that were noted that made them stuck especially with the situation of VfB which was pure defence in this match but the second half Kompany did not want to make mistakes like in the first half because they did several different schemes such as directing the ball and using the speed of the players on the winger which made VfB unable to concentrate because they continued to get an onslaught for the squad.

Out of all leagues seems like the Bundesliga is still the most predictable yet, a few hiccups with Dortmund and Bayer having a few disappointing games now and then but at least you can get a few matches right if you avoid the typical headaches teams. Although saying that and looking at the standings where Leipzig and Freiburg and 2nd and 3rd do look a bit weird.

It's quite interesting what will happen tomorrow, if Union and Wolfsburg win it will probably be the first round this year where the lowest odds were spot on.

Basically I am very confident that Bayern Munich will win this match, but at the same time I am not sure Bayern Munich will win that big such 4-0 like that. But, the odds for Bayern Munich in the 1x2 option I think are quite low at @ 1.3x and I think it's less interesting, but at the same time I'm not sure Bayern Munich is able to win with a large goal gap, so I also hesitate to choose the asian handicap option because I think Stuttgart is able to make goals too. But yes, in reality my prediction was wrong as Stuttgart were unable to score and Bayern Munich managed to win big and yes, Kane is still very productive and that is good for Bayern Munich's goal machine.

But even though I have my doubts regarding the above, at least I am still betting even if it is only with the over 3.5 goals option. But to be honest, because at half time the score was 0-0 of course it made me doubt this option of mine, I was sure that I would fail too and lose because I think it is difficult to make four goals in the second half even if both teams make goals. But then again, Bayern Munich still managed to make an impressive result so Bayern Munich deserve to be at the top of the Bundesliga table this season.
