Unfortunately, this week Bayern Munich broke their winning streak in all competitions they participated in. And the team that broke that streak wasn't even a strong one, just Union Berlin. In fact, Bayern Munich was quite lucky because Harry Kane's injury-time goal saved them from defeat and they had to settle for a 2-2 draw with Union Berlin.

Anyone that saw this match will never predict a draw for Bayern Munich, and they almost lost the match if not for Harry Kane’s extra time goal. This is football for us, the team you underrate more can be the one to take away your winning record and leave you with surprise. Union Berlin was not a team that could even give Bayern Munich a hard time for the title race but they’ve just won a big record on them as far as this season is concerned. For smaller teams like them, it’s a prestigious thing to see them even ending the match in a draw. With the result of this match, it may be that they’ll face a lose soon but I still believe in their dominance that in the end, they’ll have the trophy on their side.

Union got lucky!Just because Bayern scored in the 90+ minute for the equalizer doesn't mean they were the lucky ones, Union started strongly and caught them by surpise, in the late h1 and the start of h2 things started to normalize and it was total domination by Bayern with Union only ready for counters the possesion went to 3/4 for Bayern, and they got lucky with that,  if we cut goals one might consder lucky from the euqastion it will still be a draw , just a 1-1.

It looks like this season Bayern Munich will lead the standings alone and leave its competitors far behind. The draw against Union Berlin is understandable, after all, it’s very difficult to win every match, even though Bayern Munich were heavily favored to secure all three points in that game. With Leipzig and Dortmund also failing to earn full points, the gap in the standings still looks quite wide.

Bayern Munich are quite comfortable at the top, and I assume there’s no team capable of putting serious pressure on them this season. Leipzig, Dortmund, Stuttgart, and Leverkusen seem to be teams fighting for Champions League qualification. Without strong competition in the Bundesliga, Kompany can focus more on the Champions League.

Sure you are right, some average team usually perform better when facing big club because they won't try to lose against a tough club in the competition, and that  what happens they are playing at home and they do all there best to get he opportunity to draw the game against Bayern Munich and they share the point, but that can't stop Munich from winning the Bundesliga this season, because they are still topping the league table and am sure they won't try to lose any point in there next game in the league they only draw there games because I think they are tired of wining matches back to back but Kompany will still be giving  the players more motivation to not draw or lose any game in the league again, let see how the competition will goes.

No, in that case, it's not about luck. Leverkusen did it because they were able to perform at their best under Xabi Alonso's coaching. Yes, at that time, thanks to Xabi, Leverkusen's performance rose tremendously, making them incredibly strong, possessing a squad capable of such improvement despite not being made up of top players. Xabi had a very good strategy with Leverkusen, and at that time, Bayern Munich's performance was sometimes quite unsuccessful. Because of that, Leverkusen deserved to win the Bundesliga because they were truly successful at it, not by luck.

However, after Xabi and several key players left, Leverkusen's performance dropped even further. Fortunately, in their last match, the club managed to win with a phenomenal scoreline for the club this season, a 6-0 victory over Heidenheim. However, Leverkusen remains in the top 5 of the Bundesliga.

I do not see it as luck, Bayern Munich did played well at some point in that game so they were not just lucky but they did performed their best only that the opponent they played against is one in which we did not expect they were going to loose to or even have a draw against, a win was what we mostly anticipated for Bayern Munich against this team.

Performance-wise, it was clear that Bayern Munich was the better team than Union Berlin in that match. However, many people didn't expect Union Berlin to score that much, forcing Bayern Munich to work hard until the end to equalize. I also didn't expect Union Berlin to overwhelm their visitors like that, even though Bayern Munich managed to break down Union Berlin's defense and close down opportunities for the home team to build attacks.

It was an exciting and interesting match, although the result was very disappointing for Bayern Munich fans. This is something that is difficult to maintain because a large number of matches will force some players to have to rest and if the coach is not able to carry out the correct rotation, the team will experience bad results. Maintaining victory in every match that is played is quite difficult and perhaps in the last few seasons we have seen Leverkusen under the coaching of Xabi Alonso without defeat, but when they faced the final with Atalanta in the European league they also experienced defeat. Playing a draw is much better than suffering defeat because so far Bayern Munich have been quite consistent in all the matches they have played.

Bayern Munich has no reason to worry too much about the Bundesliga title. There is no team worthy of fighting with Bayern Munich for the Bundesliga title. Although Leipzig and Dortmund are in second and third place in the table, these two teams are behind by 6 and 7 points respectively. So even if Bayern Munich loses points in a few more matches, they will remain at the top of the table.
Kompany should give full focus to the Champions League match. Munich will face Arsenal in the next match. Arsenal is at the top of the Premier League table. Securing 3 points in this match is a big challenge for Munich players.

I'm wondering how Dortmund managed to play that bad against HSV... You have 17 goal attempts and only 1 one of them finds the target. Half of them were even blocked.

They just had big problems on breaking the defense of their opponent. And a dramatic last minute goal was helpful for HSV to secure a point. Dortmund's form started to get bad recently. Only 2 wins in last 5 Bundesliga games.

The only thing bad about Bayern Munich match yesterday is that they didn't win against Union Berlin but as for their invincible, Bayern Munich still remain invincible because they are yet to lose any match in the Bundesliga this season. When Bayern Munich played up to 26th minute without scoring a goal against Union Berlin, I knew the match was going to be difficult for Bayern Munich. The Union Berlin vs Bayern Munich match prevented me from winning my bet ticket yesterday.

I would also say biggest bad thing was that Bayern Munich was tied with Union Berlin, which sadly made you lose your bet, but you are correct that Bayern is still on its run without loss in Bundesliga, which is amazing thing. It was not simple game, as you felt, since Union Berlin has good defense that makes it hard even good team like Bayern to score simply, and although draw stopped Bayern to continue its winning run, it was victory of smart defense of Union Berlin.

This season, it's safe to say Bayer Leverkusen no longer has any title aspirations. They'll be trying to climb the ladder to secure a spot in the Champions League. What matters is where they stand next season. If Bayer Leverkusen wants to be in the title race again next year, they absolutely must make some good signings. After the departure of key players, they've struggled to score goals, and their defense has become more vulnerable.

On paper, Bayern Munich should have won against Union Berlin, but if fatigue was the reason for their failure to win, it might be understandable given the tight schedule that has drained the players' energy. This result doesn't actually affect their position in the standings and their status as one of the clubs with the most potential to win the Bundesliga trophy, but dropping 2 points against Union Berlin has ended Bayern Munich's winning streak and now they have to start from scratch.
Kompany needs to rotate his squad in the easier matches to give his key players enough rest, and he needs to maintain this form to break Leverkusen record of being unbeaten throughout the season.

And the drama wasn't over yet, as Danilho returned to restore Union Berlin's lead. Defeat for Bayern Munich was in sight, but once again, Bayern Munich showed that it wasn't over yet, with a Kane goal keeping Bayern Munich unbeaten to date.

I know Union Berlin to be one of those teams in the German bundesliga to have this strategic defensive pattern of protecting their goals which makes it relatively difficult to win them should they get to score before their rival in a game. In the case of Bayern Munich the escape from what could have being a lose game for them was due to the high profile squad the Bayern Munich team is made up.
