I was expecting Dortmund to score their third goal and win, but they conceded first, then scored. We saw goals from both teams in extra time. Dahoud's goal was a bit of a lucky one. Dortmund's defense just couldn't clear the ball. But Chukwuemeka's goal was also a bit of a fluke, the ball just stayed in front of him. As a result, both teams had to settle for 1 point. Then at the end of the game, in the injury time, Frankfurt scored and reverted the result but luckily Dortmund was able to get the draw before the whistle.
That was not the best start of the new year that Dortmund can show and Bayern Munich got the advantage to increase the gap indeed to 11 points so be safe for few rounds and obviously can close the race very early.

Quite a rollercoaster this evening in Frankfurt.
Borussia Dortmund was taking the lead twice during the game, then Eintracht shifted it to their side by taking the lead in 90+2 minutes. But Dortmund showed some character and equalised in the 5th minute of the stoppage time.
This creates an opportunity for Bayern to further increase their lead, as well as a chance for Leverkusen/Leipzig to close the distance to Dortmund (both are currently 4 points behind.

I see that two of tomorrow's games are postponed:
Werder Vs Hoffenheim; and
St Pauli Vs Lepzig

I'm guessing it must be due to the bad weather, hopefully the rest of the games will go ahead. Sometimes playing in extreme conditions can bring unexpected results.

The Bundesliga league competition return in a fine style with that six goals thriller from Frankfurt and Dortmund. Little to say but they have to work on defending if they can score three goals. Dortmund needs to do that come the next game. It didn’t end how we had it predicted but good thing they didn't lose the game.

You are missing something, Borussia Dortmund scored first but fought very hard to get a draw. At some minutes to full time, E. Frankfurt were winning 3:2 after scoring two consecutive goals to get to that point. It was in 90'+6 that Carney Chukwuemeka got the equalizer for Borussia Dortmund to save them from the humiliation. If Dortmund cannot win a team this small, I wonder when they will have the muscle to drag league trophy with team like Bayern Munic that are always battle ready every other season. Late last year Dortmund started their underperformance which I don't know what to attribute that to and this draw shows that nothing have changed regarding the direction they are going. Maybe few signing this January will help the team bounce back fully.

indeed Frankfurt was ready for Dortmund because neither of them was allowed to score. They made proper used of there strikers because playing both of them scoring three goals is just another interesting game that we can not joke with, so there is more than just goals yesterday, and from the look of things they gave one of the best entertainment yesterday and even if it ended draw i know that the both of them had all the fun because it was an interesting game.  And even their shots on target are equal, and there was not chances at all, and there is lot of things that can happen in this case, but for some time they gave us the best entertaining game in the bundesliga so to me it was a good game.

So history repeat itself yesterday’s night , a draw again between Borussia Dortmund and Eintracht Frankfurt. The game took a very swift turn from favoring Dortmund to favoring the home side Frankfurt, when I saw the 90+2 from Frankfurt, I just thought to myself that Frankfurt have won this time but Dortmund equalized after three minutes and it’s another draw but with three goals from each side…an impressive performance from Frankfurt because I know many people thought Dortmund will definitely win this match.

The most special match of the season was the Frankfurt vs. Dortmund game.
Dormitory took a 0-1 lead in the 9th minute, but after that goal, they didn't attack at all. Frankfurt, at the disadvantage of being behind, tried to attack. They missed many chances but scored from a penalty. Guirassy acted very clumsily in the penalty situation. He kicked his opponent, and the referee immediately pointed to the penalty spot.
Can's penalty goal made the score 1-1, and the first half ended 1-1.
The second half also saw attacks from both sides, but the last 5 minutes of the match were very exciting. In the 90+2nd minute, Frankfurt made the score 3-2. Just when I thought the match would end like that, in the 90+5th minute, Dortmund made the score 3-3. This highly exciting match ended 3-3.

We got a chance to enjoy a wonderful match. My guess  was that the match would be a draw or frankfurt would win. But , I considered Frankfurt to be more likely to win.

There is no doubt that both teams have played superbly. We enjoyed a thriller match. Who would have thought this match would be a draw, especially when Frankfurt took a 3-2 lead after 90  minutes ? Dortmund equalized in just 3 minutes. We saw two goals after 90 minutes. I have seen very few such competitive matches in this  year's bundesliga.

Sometimes the outcome of the games makes me wonder if the players are aware of the times left before the games are over before conceding in the last minute of the games, a beautiful performance it was in the game for both teams they scored beautiful goals and gave their fans the best entertainment they desired after coming back from the break but no one saw the last minute goal coming from Dortmund but it happened and the 3:3 was recorded, Frankfurt could have won if they had defended till the last minute but their overall performance was good.

What a great performance from both sides yesterday the match between Frankfurt Dortmund was very exciting and interesting to watch, Dortmund try all their possible best just to win the match but the Frankfurt didn’t allow them that’s why they were put in much efforts and equalize back to back; this prove to me yesterday that Frankfurt are also in their best form is just that they are left behind in the table.

But with the pressure they give Dortmund in that game if they face any team like them they most defeat them, and if they can keep their form in that way they will soon advance to the top 5th spot. Doesn't sound to overwhelming to be to be honest. Also watching the replay of the game this was a classic draw with both teams being fairly equal.

2 games today are already cancelled because of the crazy weather conditions by the way.
