Isn't that what the Bundesliga is like, except for when Leverkusen managed to overthrow Bayern Munich and end their title streak? Lol.

I don't expect the Bundesliga to be very exciting, as Bayern Munich is so superior that they continue to dominate the league. What's interesting is the battle for the top four, and actually, the bottom half, where teams are fighting to escape the relegation zone, is more interesting than the fight for the title.

The points gap between the top and second placed teams is too great, and the problem is that the top team also finds it very difficult to experience a negative trend, making it nearly impossible to catch up.

The Bundesliga could be exciting in just one respect, figuring out who will take second and third place, Bayer Monaco have those advantage points that are not easy to recover, they should practically lose the next 4 games to reshuffle the situation in the Championship, honestly i think it's really difficult for that to happen.

Is there any serious competition going on in the Bundesliga right now? Well, maybe among the "birds of the same feather."

I'm tired of looking around anymore in the league, it's always boring because you'll always guess right the top club, it's always Bayern, while the next 5-6 clubs will now be competing with their weaknesses, even though it could be interesting to watch. But in the spirit of competing for the cup itself, no one is contesting with Bayern, which is wrong and unentertaining.

Xabi Alonso went to the team that he knew he would have a brighter career but unfortunately he was not able to achieve what brought him there and his journey there was cut short. He is still a big coach to reckon on and I don’t see him going to stay for a long time without getting a new team to manage. He has been spectacular from his days at Bayern Leverkusen, it was just too unfortunate that he couldn’t make much success  in Spain and had to battle hard. He will receive a lot of offers from big teams soon, that I’m very sure of. It may be in the Bundesliga or in any of the top five leagues, he’s worthy of being given another chance and this time I hope he delivers the team well.

Leverkusen really need some new players in the team to make them perform more better in the league competition, because if they didn't get new players they will still be performing poorly in the Bundesliga. If they can get the opportunity to bring Xabi Alonso again they will be very happy and the clubs will be better then current one now. They have changed to coach since Xavi Alonso leave the club but still they are not doing very good in both the Champions League and the league competition. I think the transfer will be close and if they didn't get more players they will probably ended without a trophies this season. With how the season is moving if the coach didn't improve they can probably sack him the way they do Eric teg hag.

If I were Xabi Alonso, I will not return to Bayern Leverkusen, it is not ideal because if he returns there, I doubt he will be able to reproduce the onderful record he had there after the club had sold all the players he assembled. So returning there will likely be to destroy the achievement he made there and that is not what a wise person will do. He should aim for other clubs even in the Eglish Premiership, there're many clubs that can hire him like Manchester United that are at crossroads at the moment.

Xabi Alonso set a record in Bundesliga last two seasons, remaining unbeaten throughout the season, Leverkusen is not unbeaten in the league last season, they did not win the league last season, but finished among the top four teams. It will be difficult for the current manager to get the same result as Xabi Alonso, the club is struggling with their games, after losing two league games in a row, they were defeated in the Champions League game.

I don’t believe Xabi Alonso would like to come back to the club again, I’m sure that after he left last season, that is the end of his tenure at the club. Xabi Alonso is now looking forward to get a new job, but it is impossible to return back to Leverkusen, the manager will like to face another challenge in his career, and Liverpool is one of the best teams he would like to manage one day.

Xabi leaving Bayer Leverkusen wasn't a mistake, because he was at the peak of his game and if he stayed, he would have just be a manager for a mediocre team. Yes he won the title with Leverkusen that is true, but if he stayed for another 5 years, you think he could repeat that? I think he couldn't, look at Bayern Munich right now, it's so clear that they are far greater team than back in that year.

Xabi Alonso went back to Real Madrid at the wrong time when there was too controversy in the team and it affected his career but I believe his good record at the Bundesliga would speak for him if he goes back seeking for a job there, I still have this believe that he'll be considered as a replacement for Arne Slot of Liverpool if Slot fail to take the team to the Champions League next season.
 However I think he'll be fit for the role of a head coach at Dortmund or Bayern Munich but that's if those clubs path ways with their current head coaches and consider him as an option if he's still available. If Xabi knew his shortcoming at Madrid would be too quick he wouldn't had left Leverkusen but then the role of a head coach at Real Madrid is something most elite managers would find it though to reject talk more of Xabi Alonso.

I believe premier league would be better for him. Who is going to hire Xabi Alonso in bundesliga that could be worth his time? Bayern Munich is great and would fit Xabi a lot but Vincent Kompany is doing a wonderful job right now and unless some other team snaps him up, that dude will stay there for many years.

Aside from Bayern Munich, every other team is only playing for a second position, Xabi is very well aware that he can't achieve the same success as he did with Leverkusen, hell he didn't even do that on the year after, so he isn't going to bundesliga.

The German league becomes maybe a training place  for the Premier League. That doesnt apply for Bayern Munich, but all the other teams would accept the money from England. If you look at Woltemade and the deal with Newcastle, or Florian Wirtz and Liverpool, I think those are the best examples. The large amount of money in England is not the only reason for German players to go there. The level of the league is extreme high, and many worldstars play there, perhaps even the best in the world.

That doesn't mean he's successfully helped Bayer win titles in the past and that he'll only fit in Germany. I think it all depends on several circumstances, and at the moment, Leverkusen is in really good shape with some pretty solid players.

So you're saying the reason he should not rejoin Leverkusen is a risk of failure? That's the risk every manager faces everywhere.
I don't think Xabi will return, as I believe he was looking for something more prestigious and challenging, so returning would look like tucking the tail, admitting defeat and going back to the comfort zone.

But if the reason for his departure was to take the dream opportunity to lead the club he used to play in (considered one of the best clubs in the world), and otherwise he was perfectly happy in Leverkusen, then I see no shame in him going back to that since his Real Madrid adventure didn't work as planned.

Xabi Alonso left a big void at Bayer Leverkusen, and the coaches Bayer Leverkusen hired haven't been able to fill the void Xabi Alonso left when he departed Bayer Leverkusen to go and manage Real Madrid. But after Real Madrid relieved Xabi Alonso of his duties, I think Bayer Leverkusen should sign Xabi Alonso back so that he can help Bayer Leverkusen challenge Bayern Munich for the Bundesliga title next season.

Then he can maybe stroll around England once he is fully back on his feet (I know at one point Liverpool might need him)
