Bayern Munich is still the favorite to win the bundesliga title and they have the best chance of  winning the title. They are still 6 points ahead of Dortmund. If Bayern munich's  performance becomes erratic, then dortmund will have a chance to grab the top  spot in the table. Dortmund vs munich match is very important for both teams. If Munich can win this match, they will undoubtedly be in the safe zone and it will become almost impossible for dortmund to occupy the top spot in the table. But if Munich are defeated, they will be under pressure and dortmund will have the chance to become champions.

I agree with you. Bayern munich dropped points in just two matches. It was unexpected. They lost against Augsburg and shared the points with Hamburg. But then we  saw a great comeback from Munich. Munich won 5-1  against hoffenheim and 3- 0 against bremen. So they don't want to lose the truck so quickly.

Munich is 6 points ahead of dortmund in the safe zone. Munich are unlikely to lose against dortmund in the first week of March. I would say  either the match will be a draw or munich will secure the win. This is Dortmund's home match, so the match is likely to be competitive. But munich is unlikely to lose.

I really don't think the Bundesliga championship competition is so tight at all, because 6 points are not small and easy for Dortmund to equalize it especially with strong domination of Bayern Munich in Bundesliga. Dortmund is the only club in Bundesliga can beat Bayern Munich as below them, there is Hoffenheim with 12 points less than Bayern Munich is not in the title race. Only Dortmund are in the race but it's not likely they will be able to do something for beating Bayern Munich in the competition and I guess Bayern Munich will win Bundesliga title several weeks before the season ending too.

They had bad results recent matches but they will return to beast mode and destroy clubs in Bundesliga again. With only 12 remaining matches and 6 points more than Dortmund as well as much better goal difference, Bayern Munich will need to win maximum 10 matches to lift the trophy while the task might become easier if Dortmund get not perfect results in 12 remaining matches. With quality of Dortmund, they will not be able to win all 12 remaining matches, so Bayern Munich will need to win like 8, 9 matches to get a trophy again.

Hoffenheim still continue to impress people by the way. Even though they were destroyed by Bayern Munich 5-1 they continued like nothing happened. They just beat Freiburg 3-0 home easily last week.  

Technically there is an easy match ahead against Köln this weekend. However the odds are quite interesting... Hoffenheim have odds like 2.00+ for the win. They lost to Köln home earlier in the season but I don't think it will happen again.

Without any doubt, Hoffenheim proved themselves as third-best team in Bundesliga, their consistency is amazing in last 15 games, they have 11 wins same as leaders Bayern Munich and Dortmund, their defense and attack are also having good coordination which helping them for securing the third spot.

In remaining part of this season, they need to be having same level performance which will help them of occupying spot into top 4 which is now going to be challenging because Stuttgart and Bayer Leverkusen are doing impressive job and trying to over through them. 4 teams are having same level of quality which is going to provide good soccer for remaining 2 spots at the top.

I don’t want to be harsh, but Dortmund cannot occupy that top spot this season. Already, Dortmund has shown they are not after the trophy, they just want to prove the point that they have good players that are capable of winning trophies, which in the summer they will get a good price by selling those players, which is how Dortmund usually do it every season. So, don’t be carried away and think they will overcome Bayern Munich’s performance this season, that is not the aim of Dortmund, and Bayern Munich’s dominance will continue till we have another serious coach like Xavi Alonso, as he did to Bayern Leverkusen then.

I personally think that Bayern Munich was forced to lose to Augsburg or even share points with Hamburg SV because of their busy schedule. Bayern Munich previously had to face Royale Union SG in the Champions League phase. And about two days later they had to meet Augsburg. The same thing happened when they drew against Hamburg, where they previously had to compete against PSV in the Champions League phase which they had to win in order to qualify directly for the Champions League round of 16. So I personally think that Bayern Munich's performance was unstable due to fatigue caused by their busy schedule. And now we can see that Bayern Munich's performance has started to stabilize again starting from their match against Hoffenheim to their last match against Werder Bremen. I'm sure that Vincent Kompany and even Bayern Munich will maintain their good performance until the end of the season. And I see that some of the upcoming matches for Bayern Munich are relatively easy for them as some of the teams they will face are teams they have defeated in every H2H meeting. That makes me very confident that Bayern Munich will lift the trophy this season.

The Bundesliga isn't the same as the EPL. In the EPL, a team like Arsenal with a large points difference can run into problems and be overtaken by other teams. But in the Bundesliga, I don't think many teams can beat Bayern Munich. Their draw against Hamburger was beyond my expectations. Statistically, Munich dominated the match. They were unlucky not to win that match. So far, both Munich and Dortmund have only lost once. It looks like Dortmund could compete with Munich. I don’t even expect Dortmund to think of getting it easy peasy with Bayern Munich at the top of the table this swap with the erratic efforts being exercised by the Munich guys in their games and I don’t see them declining in points in their subsequent games as they are so much committed to winning this season. All I expect from Dortmund is not to budge either and to also keep their hopes alive while working hard to winning their subsequent matches against their opponents. If Dortmund can be this consistent over their next games, chances are they will keep closing the existing gaps in points and may eventually achieve their goal which is to assume the top spot of their table standing.

You are right mate. Dortmund's desire was never to win the title. They want to fight hard for the title, and their main target is to give the young players some experience. Drafting some players every season and selling them at high prices. There is no surprise if the same thing happens again this season. There was no denying that they were in pretty good rhythm. Based on the performance of both, it seems like Dortmund has no chance of overtaking Bayern Munich. A 6-point gap isn't that far, but it's very difficult for Dortmund to catch up because Bayern Munich always manages to maintain momentum to maintain their position. In my opinion, the points difference between the two teams could still be bigger because Dortmund will face several strong teams in the remaining matches. They will face RB Leipzig in the next match and after that they have to face Bayern Munich, I think Dortmund will have a hard time when facing Munich because they have to face three important games in a short time including the game against Atalanta in the Champions League play-off round.
