I don't think this match is that special because if Bayern Munich loses, it won't change their positions in the standings. In their first meeting this season, Bayern Munich managed to beat Dortmund with a score of 2-1, I think the same result will happen again in this match because Bayern is still very tough to face for any team in the Bundesliga. Dortmund will certainly be looking to close the gap to revive their title hopes, but they must also be prepared for the fact that Bayern Munich will always play differently when facing a team of similar strength to theirs.

der Klassiker is only 4 days later! Dortmund are the hosts this time. In their previous match at Allianz Arena, Bayern Munich won by 2-1. This time I'm wondering if Dortmund will manage to get points.

On the other hand Dortmund have a Champions League fixture tomorrow. They are in Italy for the second leg. And only 3 days after that one the match against Bayern Munich is going to be played...

This makes me doubt Dortmund more on getting points honestly. I think it could end in a draw.

Bayern Munich getting to rest and relax during this time when Dormtund plays many games could be one of the reasons why the yare so easy to beat. Not that they are not the best, Bayern is the best for sure, but even the best could fail at times if they are too tired, but this time it's reverse, the better team is rested and the smaller team is more tired, hence why Dortmund has no chance at all.

The gap is growing already, and will keep on growing by the time the league ends. I am guessing a 10+ point gap by the end of the year wouldn't be really that bad, it would be something that could be happening sometime soon and not really wait until the end of the season and we should definitely wait for it to happen.

This is not something we should ponder much on about, because it is looking even more obvious that Bayern Munich are on the verge of winning the title once again and I don’t see Dortmund having a chance on the title when Bayern Munich hasn’t lost dominance in any way so far this season. Dortmund have been so much reluctant, but they’ve not also shown a sign of them losing out and not battling for the top position on the table. I will just take this match as a normal one, the results won’t matter much what to expect at the end of the season, the team which gets to win this game won’t have any effect on the title winner. Munich is not not serious in my opinion, they just do not have the capacity to match Bayer Munich, we can see Bayern Munich enter directly into the play off in the champions league along with its dominance in the Bunde League on the other hand Dortmund can only enter the qualifying round, but fortunately they were able to win again yesterday against Atalanta, Munich's competitor, Dortmund, is also focused on the champions league so for Munich in the domestic league will not be too dangerous and can still focus on taking the two leagues seriously, you do not need to worry about Munich in the current situation, they will be very capable of doing it.

I don’t know why people are saying Dortmund will win against Bayern Munich, is that even going to possible. I don’t think we all know how good and strong Bayern Munich is this season, they are good and can do anything to get this title this season.

Given that Dortmund is the second team on the table, they will be playing against Munich the team is going to be a tough one, we all know but the fact is that Munich will do everything to see that they win the match, Dortmund can’t beat Munich as you are saying man.

Bayern's win and their 3 goals scored gets them closer to setting a new Bundesliga record for the most goals scored in a single season.
The current record is held by Bayern (no surprise here) and it's 101 goals.
In this season, they already have 85 goals with 11 games to go. All they need is an average of 1.55 goal per game to establish a new record. I wonder if this is something they even consider when choosing tactics for each game etc.

In their next league match, they are facing Dortmund in an away game. It may not be easy to score there, as Dortmund has a pretty solid defense (second best in the league after Bayern). That being said, if Dortmund are serious about making a final push for the championship, they will have to take some risks and open up, which should create some chances for Bayern.

That’s what you’re thanking, but me i don’t have the believe that they’re the favorite to win the champion league. Because Arsenal have already occupied the top of the standings even though Arsenal only ahead of them with three points, they will find it difficult to up Arsenal from top table; as their also in their best form to dominate both the champions and premier leagues. Let forget that Bayan Munich gave good squads at times football is not about good squads, because there are some of the teams that will be full with better squads and still not doing well that’s the stages that Bayern Munich are in currently.

Borussia Dortmund have not failed to be a worthy contender in this league as it seems that their point gap with Bayern Munich is already 8 and the next match will be a decisive match for them. However, before this match, Borussia Dortmund will automatically be under pressure as you notice they have to participate in the second leg of the Champions League final play-off tomorrow as a visiting team. By the way it is a relief for them that they secured a victory against the Italian club Atalanta in the first leg. Also, we all know this team will have to face the consistently strong Bayern Munich in the 24th round of the domestic league after the Champions League play-off. If they can beat the German league table topper Bayern Munich by chance, my opinion the point gap between them will be 5, but this game will be the toughest of them.

I would say that they are going to not really care about the league too much anymore, being second place would be enough for them, so they would care enough to not be third place and keep being second place but they are not going to end up trying to be the first place. For that reason I think we should consider Dortmund focusing a lot more on UCL now than the league.

For example, they could play with their main squad against Atalanta and not care about the league as much, Atalanta is a team that I am still shocked to see this far in the UCL because they are not that good in Italy anymore.

The team always has young talent developing, but they never lose their desire to sell. So, when a player develops and a team wants to buy him for a high price, Dortmund will sell him. This is why the team struggles to match Bayern Munich's strength because their squad depth is far inferior to the quality of players Bayern Munich possesses. Even if Dortmund wins this match, I think their chances of winning the championship are very slim this season. I don't have high hopes for Dortmund, having seen them fail to win the championship in previous seasons due to draws in their final matches. In fact, if they had won the match, Bayern Munich would have failed to reach the championship and instead Dortmund would have been the champion candidate that season.
