Because if he excitment is down after Bayern winning two times in a row (with this year counting in), what was like between 2012 and 2022?

Leverkusen has silent the crowd in Westfalenstadion with an outstanding finish from Robert Andrich on the 42nd minutes. It was a perfect strike from the German international to put Leverkusen on a 1-0 lead.

Leverkusen attacks is sharp than that of Dortmund and this is a good advantage for Leverkusen to win the game. The first half has come to an end and the scoreline is still 0-1.

And it ended with that scoreline 0-1 in favor of Leverkusen. Some time you expect much more goals in the second half when one team score a goal towards the end of the first half but then it happens to be the only goal score in the match. Borussia dortmund performance was embarrassing yesterday and the defeat was a well deserving one. I hate it when a team has a chance to make things work differently but chose to misuse the chance. That was at least a draw game for Borussia dortmund even if they couldn't win but they decided to give Bayern Munich a free run to championship instead of making the gap closer. Leverkusen is trying hard to secure a spot in the champions league next season and I can see commitment from their side through their performance.

Bayern Munich has been very impressive from the beginning of the season until now. What marvels me so much is the number of goals they have scored this season having 78 goal difference is not for every team as they are having the highest in Europe top leagues. Bayern Munich focuses in scoring more goals continuously no matter how many they have scored already. Vincent Kompany is taking the games by surprise and breaking histories. Being 12 points clear on top with only 5 games to go means that one more win is all they need because even if Borussia Dortmund wins their remaining four and Bayern Munich looses all 4, they will be at equal point and the title will be given on goals difference. I congratulate the team and I also congratulate Harry Kane for seeing another trophy after his trophy droughts at Tottenham Hotspur.

Bayern are in excellent form, you can compare how they play in the Bundesliga to how difficult it is for Real Madrid to play in La Liga. I don't think Real Madrid has a chance against Bayern in the return leg because the difference in form is too obvious. There's no doubt Bayern will defend their title, and now their only priority is the Champions League.

Yeah i agree with you Bayern are in a good form this season, with what Madrid is playing right now i'm not sure if they'll be able to defeat Bayern in second leg. What Bayern need is to work with their defence if Bayern defence will be able to defend very well forget Madrid will be out in second leg.

Leverkusen got a really critical win to come back to life again. They played like one of their most difficult games of the season away against Dortmund. 

But there was at least a Dortmund which had pretty much no goal left other than finishing at the 2nd position in the standings.

Still Dortmund didn't give up easily but Leverkusen won anyway. Now they will hope for Stuttgart to lose points which doesn't look much possible against HSV home...

Leverkusen pulled the shocker of the weekend by beating Dortmund which I doubted before the beginning of the match. Given how informed Dortmund has been and them playing at home made it looked impossible for them to lose today but it didn’t look that way in the end. The race for the top 4 is heating up and Stuttgart won’t won’t want to be the team that will drop point. I think they are going to win their match tomorrow.

As the season draws to a close, the impossible can become a surprise. As was the case with Dortmund's defeat, a confident performance allowed Leverkusen to capitalize on it. It was a stroke of luck for Leverkusen, but judging from the first minute of the match, Leverkusen deserved to win. And if Dortmund had capitalized on every opportunity, they certainly wouldn't have lost like this.

I guess what he wanted to say was that we all know how the Bundesliga is going to end even before it starts. And he's not wrong, Bayern Munich are just too superior and they ended up winning even when they don't deserve it. Of course fans will still go to the stadium because they want to support the team but if I were a Borussia Dortmund supporter (for example) I would know the best my team can do is reaching the second place.

I agree with you that Bayern Munich is going to lift this Bundsliga trophy, because they have potential players that is doing well to create good opportunity that will make them to win the trophy. I have been watching their games from the beginning till now and I must confess to you that nothing will stop Bayern Munich not to win this trophy, because they have secured points that will make other clubs in this tournament to recover before the end of the tournament.

I don't have any doubt from Bayern Munich in the champion league tournament to meet their opponent in the next stage, because if you are talking about potential players Bayern Munich have potential players than Real Madrid, which is the advantage they will use to qualify for final stage.

For once I thought about if we would see a surprising result considering they were already comfortable in 1st place and St. Pauli were trying not to relegate. 

Your comment quickly raises the question as to how you define dominant when there is a team that wins the Bundesliga title more than ten times in a row until one other teams wins it once, to then see the first team win it over ten times in a row again. You could argue that dominance is broken, but since everyone is aware how dominance works in professional sports leagues, depending on the context of course, it is rather a marker that speaks for a period spreading over many seasons.

You can have a dominant team for one season, but the context here is that it is said "Bayern dominates the Bundesliga because of reason X and reason Y", and then it really doesn't matter whether they win the title 18 times or 19 times out of 20 seasons.

I mean the domination over the years, not in a specific season. Everything kind of started as of the 2012/13 season. Since then only once a different team than Bayern Munich won the title.

After they beat the powerful Dortmund away, I'm starting to believe that the race for the top 4 is not over yet. Although they will need a lot of luck to achieve this, as there are only 5 rounds left in the tournament. They dropped too many points in games against outsiders and are now paying for it.
It's a shame that Hoffenheim, which were in the top 4 for a very long time (and showed excellent play), did not have enough strength for the final part of the season.

Yes we can see the difference between them, it's a big difference in terms of performance and consistency. Real Madrid's situation has gotten so bad that they are losing to smaller teams in La Liga and drawing at home, it's a shame for Real Madrid. If I'm not mistaken, I remember that Real Madrid's situation has been very shaky since the beginning of this season. I still can't understand what measures Real Madrid's management is taking. Because even after changing a few coaches, they haven't seen any improvement. Real Madrid's management needs to be stronger on this issue.

Bayern currently has a clear advantage. They've done their job very well; they're on another level. They're having a dream season, in my opinion one of their best ever. They still have mandatory matches left, but that's a done deal. In Germany, they are the absolute kings, and they have everything in their favor. This has led to a string of successes for them. The only thing missing is the Champions League. They have it against Real Madrid; if they beat them, I'm sure they'll win this Champions League

That 4 point gap may seem small but it is actually quite big, dude. Because with the level of consistency that the two team in front of them are showing it is actually quite tough to close this gap.
so, why are the two matches against Stuttgart and Leipzig so important? Because at that time both opponent will be fighting for their live to achieve something. And in such situation the game is usually much more open and high scoring. These are perfect for Leverkusen's attacking style

If they can pocket all the point from those two match then we will see that the fight for the top four has suddenly become completely open again

Bayern Munich has always being a rootless side. Even today when I felt they would be taking things easy due to their UCL fixture next week, they clearly weren’t out for any jokes as they still got 5 goals while keeping their clean sheet against St. Pauli.
Dortmund on the other hand didn’t find it any easy with Bayer Leverkusen. It was a tight one but, Leverkusen clearly had the upper hand in this and were able to hold it to the final whistle. Giurassy had one of the best chance for Dortmund to win the an equalizer but even that, came running from under the cross bar. Am important point surely following Hoffenheim’s draw yesterday.

Recent 5 goal win of Bayern Munich over St. Pauli shows that they are still in attacking and strong mode despite upcoming big match in Champions League, meaning that they have enough players to play at full strength without getting tired. I think Bayern is doing it to frighten their European rivals, but their loss to Dortmund shows that they cannot stay creative and full of energy in difficult spot. Due to this win, Bayern has huge goal lead, and they look unbeatable at top of list, whereas Dortmund must play better other than hope that other clubs will lose so that they can stay in top four. It is simply whether Bayern is this good due to plan of their new coach or they just have great players compared with all other teams.

It's a shame to see Hamburger get slaughtered 4-0 and even worse they had very little possession of the ball, Stuttgart were absolutely ruthless in this match...
At the moment we can't get close to Leipzig or Stuttgart but certainly Leverkusen managed to beat one of the Bundes Liga giants, Dortmund, it's not easy to beat Dortmund.
Fourth place is being coveted for champions league tickets, but next week they must maintain their position so that if they do not enter the champions league they can enter the UEFA Europa league, Augsburg will be a guest at the BayArena.
Yess, If I'm not forgetting, Stuttgart and Leipzig will meet Leverkusen before the season is over as one of the proving grounds.

If you can see currently I don't think Real Madrid have any trophy this season and they have lose the league and the Copa Del Rey,  because with 9 point gap in the league competition real madrid can't catch Barcelona in the league table anymore, so they just have champions league along and he will be very difficult for Munich to defeat madrid and eliminate them from the Champions League now, there all target now is champions league and they will do everything possible to get that victory against Munich in there second leg.

I still get hope that Real Madrid can eliminate Munich in the second leg, many clubs Kompany is playing with they are just scoring many goals but when he comes to madrid they struggle to get the victory so madrid have hope to qualify to semi final if they can do there best in the second leg and qualify to next round.
